End of Summer

Is anyone else glad that summer is over? I know I'm weird, but I REALLY don't like summer! I don't like the hot weather and I don't like that everything fun is more crowded than usual. I prefer the cooler days of fall. I also love being back on a schedule when school starts again.
So....anyone (Trina, I know this doesn't include you :kisses) else with me?
 
No, not me...I LOVE summer! I love the no homework, no school stress... No activities and sports to drive around the 3 kiddos.
No projects, no tests, no school board meetings!! Just fun, fun, fun! LOL...

It was exhausting though because our house was always the "let's go Auntie Em's house" and we had the house renovation---OMG, I would have freaked out so badly if the renovations happened during school!
 
Meh...I have mixed feelings...

I love the summer fun and weather, flip flops, and baseball games...but I miss routine and structure. I'll be happy when the kids are back to school and we're back on a schedule. So, I'll enjoy it while it's still here :)
 
NO....too short and many days with rains at last...could use some more of bright and warm days for my soul ...

I hate autumn, but I love winter...so give me two month of summer, and than the snow can come ;) :D
 
Well... I live in Florida... so it is 'summer' by most standards most of the year. I embrace the opportunity to open windows.

Well, weather wise the end of summer usually means heat to me. It's always hot when school starts through September and October, and sometimes into November too. So that's not good but I'm a hoping (fingers and toes crossed) for a long, cool, wet, WeT, WET winter - so bring on the rain!
 
Well living in Minnesota, I LIVE for summer! We just don't get enough of it up here. We're just now getting some really good, summer weather and it's almost time to close the pool:( I definitely need a relocation in my life.
 
I can not wait for Fall and Winter!! I love the "vacation" part of summer, and getting to have so much time with my kiddos, but I LOVE Fall!! I'm so excited to the season to change :)
All my favorite holidays are fall and winter, we are already planning our Halloween costumes ;)
Annndd I have already started my Christmas shopping :) weeeee :)
 
LOL! I just want the weather to cool down...I don't even want to think about Christmas!!
 
I love that the kids are back in school...I love my kids but my scrapping and designing time were short and my nights were long playing catch up. For the first time in TEN YEARS I have no kids at home. We homeschooled my oldest until 2nd grade and by then I had the baby but this year they are BOTH in school...wooohhoooo! My little one asks me as he leaves..."are you going to have a party by yourself" LOL I am loving the quiet.

It is cooling off this week for us...LOL! It is 100 today with heat index to 105 but we should be at 96 by the weekend! :-)
 
this summer went by in a blink.....but it will stay hot here until november at least...i'm in sunny san diego
 
Judy, I'm down near Anaheim...it will be hot here for a while still :( I'm just wishful thinking!
 
I love summer but I can't stand the heat! I think indian summer is the most favourite time of year for me :)
