download issue

All of a sudden when I download multiple files from Gingerscraps, it keeps going to the downloads folder instead of the file chosen for the last download. It is annoying because I have to choose the file each time. Anyone else having this issue. It really is making it take more time to download the files
 
Hi! I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this, so I don't think it's anything specific to GingerScraps. I use Safari browser on my MacBook and my downloads are going to my downloads folder, but that is where I have them set to go, so this is expected and preferred for me.

It actually sounds like it may be a browser setting that changed after an update. Can you let us know which browser you're using (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.)?

Also, are you saying that:
  • It asks you where to save every single file instead of remembering the last folder you chose?
  • Or does it automatically save every file to your Downloads folder without giving you the option to choose?
One last question, is this happening with downloads from the shop or the blog daily downloads or both?
Knowing which browser you're using will help us narrow it down. Hopefully we can get you back to downloading the way you're used to!

I also use a mass downloader - it captures all the zip files on the page and download them. It makes my life so much easier.
