Do you....?

Do you submit your work for publication?

Have you ever had LOs published, and if so in what mags or other?

Many years ago I had some published in an Aussie magazine called Scrapbooking Memories. It is mainly a mag for paper scrapping artists but they sometimes had a section for digi work. It was exciting to see my pages published
and I still have those mags in my bookshelf. I haven't submitted anything for ages, maybe I will look into it again.

What is YOUR story??

I do submit occasionally. Years ago I was published in Canadian Scrapbooker. It was a traditional paper lo that was submitted in direct response to a call for water lo. I did an undersea one of me scuba diving.

I used to, years ago. I was on the CT for a now out-of-print publication as well. Honestly, I haven't even looked into who still publishes and who doesn't these days.

Same with you guys... years ago! Back when I was a paper scrapper. I forget which mags, I kept them though...somewhere in my stash. But now, ditto with Jenn, I wouldn't know who still publishes layouts anymore, esp for digi??

Bumping to see if anyone else has a publication story to tell:)

I have never submitted, but have always thought it would be super cool! I wouldn't have any idea where to look.

I plan on purchasing the Australian Scrapbook Memories mag next time I am at a newsagency to see if they still take digital LO submissions. Many paper mags are no longer in print, gone the way of a lot of print media within the digital age.

OK. Scrapbooking Memories, the Australian paper magazine, does accept digital LOs for publication. Yay!! I am going to submit some and see what happens. I should first find out if Gingerscraps has any rules and requirements regarding publication submissions, I guess. The magazine has probably reduced by a third in size and volume since I last bought one several years ago....a sign of the times I guess.
