Do you watch the nightly news?

Very rarely since we don't have cable or dish. The one channel we get locally is CBS and I usually watch the morning news since I'm up at 4:30 am. The nightly news is usually either during a game/track meet (even in the summer months) or we're eating supper and I'm not going to watch the news while I'm eating.

We just stream Netflix so can't really watch it on tv. I grew up in a house where Fox News was on aaalllll the time and it sort of depressed me :( I need to do a better job of keeping up on current events - my hubby or fb usually fills me in.

I feel it's super important to be informed - so as bad as it gets sometimes, I always make a point to read it or watch it every day and get a variety of opinions from different sources.

Bolded and underlined - PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, but FB is NOT the place to get your news. It's guided, directed, and censored.

We watch together at 6 pm..our local news. Then at 10, DH watches the national news on CBC...comes out of Toronto.

I don't watch the news. It depresses me. I will watch quick snippets here and there, but overall, I am not watching the whole segment.

Here in Aus across our free to air channels, we have news commencing about 4pm and running through almost non stop until 8.30 including some current affairs programmes, then we have short updates after that. We also have an AustralianBroadcasting channel (ABC) which has a 24 hour news channel. I am ashamed to admit that my hubby and I have our dinner whilst watching the 6pm news:( and in the winter we often have dinner at 5pm..nursing home hours we call it:), so then we watch 5pm news on a different channel:). It can certainly be, like the old song says, a Horror Movie though.
