Do you use any fun photo apps?

I just learned from someone else on this site about a photo app called Deep Dream Generator. It looks like you can do some pretty artsy things with photos using that app.

I'm a PhotoShop user and I've played around a bit with some of their filters to get a specific effect when needed. And I used the app that turned my profile pic into a cartoon. Ha!

Do you use any other photo-editing apps to give your photos a special effect before scrapping them?

Pencil Pixels has some excellent scripts you can use to create beautiful picture effects. It is not an app, but scripts you can load up into Photoshop or Photoshop elements (depending on which version you buy)

A phone app called "Waterlogue" also creates fabulous effects
Another one called "Sketch Me" turns photos into lovely sketches and you can paint them.
Another phone app called "Diana" combines photos and silhouettes to come up with some lovely works of art.
I also have one called Painnt (yes, with two nn's!) that has different effects for free every day.

I use waterlogue too. I love it. I'm going to try the one you recommended Shana. I can't wait to see what other people use too.

I use one for superphoto, I think I paid a one time fee ages ago. I used to like pixlr but it costs now.

I've never tried any. Not sure I would know how to use them.

I´m a big fan of Hipstamatic! You can do a lot of fun with that one.
