Do you scrap many layouts that you don't post?

I scrap loads of stuff that I don't post. Mostly because I can't be bothered with the extra time, or credits or whatever. I love to scrap for scrapping sake, posting and comments are the frosting on the cake, but there are times when I just don't have time. I scrap about 20 layouts a month I don't post..

Lately, I've only posted layouts that I do for a challenge or CT requirement. I agree that resizing and prepping to post is time I don't always want to spend in order to get a couple comments.

Yes, I do others but to be honest they are shared on other sites as they use the other stores products.

I don't do CT work and I am pretty much challenge driven. I occasionally make cards, tags or pages for other purposes or people, but what you see in my gallery is pretty much all I do. I love the GS challenges and always manage the 10 (or more) required for the reward. Im not reward driven though, I have enough in my stash already to last several lifetimes, I scrap for the pleasure of recording events and for the joy of creating in Photoshop. I do love getting comments, lots of comments:)

Oh wow, 20 a month? Are they more LO's you want to keep private, or "just because" LO's?

I think for me, most of my scrapping is CT or challenge driven, so I share like 99% of mine somewhere. I've really felt the pull in 2020 to do more LO's just for myself that I don't share. Mostly ones with lots of cursing, LOL. But also there have been some Covid related things and political pages. There are family members who don't want to be on the internet and I respect that, but that means they don't get scrapped, and I'd like to change that. Maybe I'll make it a goal to scrap a few each month that I don't share.

Most of mine I share here. In fact I have a tendency to share here over FB, I am very selective of what goes on FB. The only pages I don’t share are ones with my students in them, I keep most school related scrapping to myself or print them out and have them in the classroom for the kids to see.

Nope, I post everything that I scrap, as the vast majority of my pages are CT LO's. Very rarely there may be a LO that I don't post on fb, but most of them are there too. :)

They are mostly project 52 type layouts, some of them are off size. There are 92 mini layouts in this album on flickr:

This one is a 12x12 album I did for a friend who ran out of time for an album for her 50th reunion. I had to save the pictures from a video, since the person with the pics never got around to sending them to her.

I recently uploaded another one for my cousins that is about my cousin John. That has over 400 mini layouts.

I have other albums on Flickr that are similar. Some of them are slides that I have used in videos. They are each scrapped individually and many take just as long as a traditional 12x12 layout!

I think that is part of the reason I lost my mojo to scrap. I love doing challenge and getting the rewards and comments. My problem is I have so much in my stash that when I find the perfect kit to scrap a picture or two, the kit is not from here. Than I choose not to scrap that. It has happened a number of times. I have so much in my stash from digi-scrapping for so long. Sometimes I'd rather not scrap than continue searching for a kit that I like that is from someone from here.

Majority of my gallery pages are CT pages or challenge pages. Many of my album pages are mix and match from a variety of kits from a variety of stores and I honestly just don't want to be bothered to track credits for every piece I use.

That makes sense about the album pages... but I'm such a kit scrapper that I have a hard time mixing and matching lol. I can't be bothered to go find parts of kits. ;)

Lynnie, your albums are Gorgeous! I love how you used SO much word art and clusters. Do those wide pages ever get printed in books or are they just online?

I'm definitely a kit scrapper too. I really admire those who can mix and match things from different kits.

Jen, the first one I printed on 5x7 pages for my brother for Christmas.

The second we rush printed at Scrapbooks to Share and got it just in time for my friend's 50th High School Reunion.

The last was turned into a video. The digital album is shared on our FB family group, along with our family tree on this one:

The last is set to a song called "The Family Tree" by a band called Venice. The theme is that even though you love someone, the family tree will always grow. The Facebook group is my cousins. Every time we lose someone I do a video. John was the first cousin who has died.

I do them for birthdays too. This was for my mum's 90th.

You can see why I don't post them - there are over 400 in John's and over 500 in my mum's. The cookies would never forgive me haha.

Yes, I scrap many that I do not post. I mainly post the LO's that are CT related and enabled or for challenges...and possibly not enabled.
I've basically stopped posted my pages [or for that matter almost anything] on my personal FB timeline. There are a couple reasons for that decision with the main one being I don't think too many of my real life family/friends have much interest in what I do. As for the wonderful crafting friends I have found online - they can see the posts in other places.

Most of my pages are for CT Work, so I post most of them in galleries. I usually post all of my layouts on FB and the more personal ones go there.

All the time. I end up with 70-80 pages, and sometimes there's swear words, and sometimes I just don't feel like double-saving down to a size that's acceptable, I try to 'save' posting for pages that I am REALLY pleased with, and not just at a level of 'that'll do, pig'.

That's me with my political ones. I am pretty outspoken in my personal life, but I really try to keep the politics out of my scrapping life.

I usually post mine there have been a few times that I haven't, but not very often. Just time I guess and didn't get around to it... but I try to post all here and FB....

I get my best comments from friends and family. I post the links to kits "For my scrapping friends." My family loves them.

I keep my project 52/365 private. Too much personal journaling on it. My family and friends deserve some privacy.

I have thought about that, but nothing happens in our lives that would be considered too personal to post. If it would be, I probably would not post it.

I don't swear so I don't have that problem. My brother would be in seventh heaven if I had a scrapbook page with a swear word. I have often thought that would be a great gift for him - an album with a different swear word, but I found I can't tpe them either LOL. His ambition in life is to make me swear.

I love it when you post your pics...

The other thing I don't do anymore is post too many pictures that are repetitive. I have uploaded a bunch of similar layouts from an album and it basically floods the gallery and is not as interesting for people to look at.

Then I also don't post the family calendar. https://flic.kr/s/aHsmTAaG9E
