Do you put kits together

I have lots of kits of the same theme: Like Beauty and The Beast, all have a similar color pallet.
I'm tired of moving back between many kits as I scrap...

Anyone put other kits together to make one big one?

Combining kits, do you mean on one layout? Yes, I do occasionally. As in combining them if they are the same color palette, maybe both kits in their own folder put into a new folder.
But if it is part of a collab from a store, I'd probably put all ellies in one folder and all papers in another depending how big the collab is. Also when doing that I'd make sure that the designer has their initials on each item to credit them properly. I'd keep all the TOUs of the all the designers in the folder as well.

Good question. I think it will strike up some good conversation as everyone may have their own way of handling this.

Sorry I meant in storage! Like I have 5 kits with the theme of Beauty and the Beast on my Hard Drive. I was thinking of putting them all in one folder.

I really admire those who can mix kits and have it look cohesive. I've sometimes mixed Buffet kits, but that's pretty much it.

Oh you meant storage. When I first started scrapping, I'd store my kits by topic, so like all school kits in one folder, etc. But I would keep the kits together in their own folders. I still have an old HD that's organized this way. I think it works well if you have kits on a similar theme. Another thing you could do is keep your kits how you regularly store them, but have separate folders just for kit previews that you want to keep together as a reminder of what you have.

I use numerous kits all the time...or sometimes I will recolor something if it doesn't match up with the page I am doing.

I mix and match kits a lot but keep them all separate but I would love to have things tagged in my acdsee program to easily find but just find the time to do that. So I probably spent way more time than I should searching for things.

I mix and match kits on occasion but not to combine them for storage. I do tag them by theme.

I add a theme to my folder name and search for them. I had them tagged in programs before, but then the program would bog down my system, etc. This is easy for me. I don't, however, tag by colour scheme. When I do need to, I search by colour and then check to see if the colours match.

I've tried tagging by color scheme, but I WAY overthought things. Like for a pinky pastel kit, do I tag it as pink, or pastel? Or if a kit has multiple colors, do I tag it as the main couple of colors, or something like "rainbow". I've heard of similar conundrums from paper scrappers who sort their supplies by color.

I think there are more organization systems than people sometimes. I love to hear how someone organizes their stuff. I have all my kits organized into themes so if I am doing a swim page I can go to that folder and each folder has a preview showing of the kit. But, I also have my favorite designers and I keep their kits together in a folder. I can usually remember the kit name so sorting them alphabetically works for me.

I organize very similar. I guess my issue is that I am lazy and when I want to use say kits with same theme, I just want to open and search one folder.
