Do you get your kids approval for pics before posting?

obviously not the littles, but the kids that can have an actual conversation, and understand social media. Do they get the ultimate say in if a picture is posted or used in a layout and posted?

Both my kids have final say in what photos i can use in a layout. I think respecting their wishes is important.

I think my kids have grown up knowing that all pictures are fair game. They do tell me if they don't want a particular one used. It is more of an opt out on single pictures at my place.

With the exception of my husband. He is picky on what is used. But.... I have a sense of the ones he prefers me not to use and I don't use them.
 
Interesting. I've never considered asking them for permission. I think they know that I'll just use what they send me. Hmm, maybe I should.
 
When I post pictures of other people's kids, I offer the same jellybeaning that I use on my partner, since HE isn't comfortable with his picture being posted anywhere. My niece and nephew aren't old enough to have strong opinions, but I will jellybean anyone who asks, or expresses that they're not comfortable with pictures being posted for whatever reasons.
 
With my own children and grandchildren I don't ask, but most photos are worthy of posting. Other people I sometimes ask unless it is a group shot at an event.
 
All pictures my husband and I take are fair game. If you don't want a picture taken, don't do the thing we are wanting to take the picture of. ie: my son shouldn't try on his sisters' dress
 
Not specifically. She knows I scrap what I take pictures of. If she doesn't want on out there, she tells me.
