Do you ever make the recipes people post on their Facebook pages?

You know the ones I am talking about. The little three minute videos from Delish and Tasty ones. We have tried some, but sadly I just keep posting and sharing. There is a pork chop one that I am trying tomorrow. I will let you know how that goes. We made a fajita one that was pretty decent.

I have.
And we've enjoyed them. Now do I follow verbatim-
no
a recipe is a suggestion-
I might want more pepper than salt.

But i I do wish that tossed onion would chop itself.

Nope, in fact I've blocked those types of posts because they never involve the kind of food I eat - LOL. If they start posting vegan ones with no sugar/added oils/fats, etc. Then I might! :D

I have tried a few of them. My husband is such a picky eater it's hard to experiment very much on new dishes.

I made the slow cooker lava cake from Tasty. I think I might have gotten it from your page actually. It was really good :)

No. I prefer using recipes from places like EatRightOntario and cookspiration.com It comes from being a Registered Dietitian and teaching plenty of cooking and food skills classes! I like taste testing recipes before I use them with clients, and I want to ensure they not only taste good but are nutritionally sound. Most of those Facebook recipes don't meet the criteria for our cooking workshops.
