Do you ever go to events just to get photos?

My daughter really wanted to go the Renaissance Festival and to be honest, I did too. But for one reason or another it just didn't get done this year despite running for like 6 weeks. Today is the last day and I just can't do it -- illness, laundry, other chores. I thought about it though, only for the photos I could get :)
 
The thought of taking pictures is sometimes the only thing that gets me out of the house, LOL Last year I "made" my husband go to the pumpkin patch an hour away so I could take pictures. It was so crowded by the time we got there that we decided not to even go in. We took a selfie with the pumpkins waaay off in the distance.

In my defense, I still have a bit of an irrational pumpkin patch phobia because of this.

I TOTALLY used to see a kit, or product and MAKE the photos happen just so I could scrap with a kit I loved! LOL.

Jen, you poor thing! Was a month in crutches worth it?? lol
 
I too go to things to get the photos to go with a particular kit etc. I've been known to set up scenarios knowing what might work.
Oh Jen....I remember your Lo. Yes...a memory for sure.

I wish I could say yes, but it definitely was not. LOL!
 
I've went to a few things that ok, maybe, they weren't really for the kids amusement but for the photo ops!! Lol
 
Oh, most definitely! I also do things just because a kit "may" come out at some time where I could use those photos! haha!
