Do you ever find yourself scrapping the same pic multiple times?

I have over a million pictures on my computer, but I still find myself scrapping the same pics more than once. Sometimes WAY more that once.

How do you prevent that? I know I should flag them scrapped somehow, but I never do, I am so caught up in the scrapping part.
 
I do this too! Sometimes it is deliberate, because it fits a certain theme I need to scrap for CT purposes, etc. or if I'm re-scrapping a page I didn't like before. Sometimes it is totally accidental. In either case, whenever I get around to printing the pages, I'll just pick which LO I like best and print that one. :)

As how to prevent that, you could flag them as you suggested, maybe put an "-S" at the end of the name, for "Scrapped." I'm sure there are savvier ways though, I just don't know them.
 
Yes, sometimes it's the event that I use the photo for, sometimes it's because of an "about" page, a "smile" page, a "together" page. Many reasons. Maybe because it's the best photo you have of that person and you want to scrap about them in more than one "story" or "event".
 
I have only done this a couple of times on accident, but sometimes I do it purposely.
My system is when I complete a layout I change the meta data on the layout to match the date the photos on the layout were taken and all of my layouts get saved back to my camera roll/OneDrive/Google Photos/Amazon Phots and as long as the metadata date matches the photos then the layouts sort chronologically right along with the photos which makes it perfectly easy to see if I have scrapped photos or not. Plus I love scrolling through my photos and seeing the matching layouts all in one place. I also add the layouts to a folder of their own, so to see them all together, but having them sorted along with my photos is huge benefit for me.
 
Yes I have either because they fit the theme or because they are my favorite. Also I don't realize I have scrapped them before.
