Deleted Files . . .Yep, I did it

So, have you ever tried to clean up your digi files - ya know, to be more organized . . .and end up deleting an entire file? :(

Yep - that is what I just did. My entire digi content of Holiday and Season digital scrap kits is all gone. Luckily for me, my GS stuff is in it's own folder, so I have "most" of my GS Holiday items, but this other folder is where I put all the older ones and general ones - or sometimes obscure ones.

I guess this is my permission to go shopping, right? ;)

Awww, I'm surprised I've never done it because it sounds like something I would do! I purge regularly so it probably wouldn't upset me too much and yes, definitely a reason to go shopping!

My fear of deleting stuff is one of the reasons I keep my downloaded zip files in a separate place. I've deleted stuff and was able to go back and download the missing items.

I'd say you need to go shopping.

Well, that's a bummer! In my opinion, one never needs a reason to go shopping... ;)

It is really the obscure ones that I will miss. I am sure that I have plenty of Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Easter in my Gingerscraps folder. It is the ones like Chinese New Year (That I can think of now) that I do not have a ton of. Then, there are those ones from retired designers that I loved that will be missed.

Of course, it brought another problem to mind that I did not know about - so that is good. My Backblaze was not set up to backup my ehd and I thought it was. So, I went to try to recover it that way and found nothing there. I was able to set it up for any future major problems.

At least something good came out of this then! I'm glad you caught the thing with Backblaze!

Oh Noooo! I accidentally deleted almost my entire stash once. Thank goodness my mac does hourly backups, so I was able to go get them back. Bummer about the Chinese New Year kits, I wish there were more of those too.
