So I bought Cornelia's awesome template set and I'm going to give it a shot.... took pictures of our Lego Advent calendar today. Haven't made the LO yet, but at least I got the photos LOL! Anyone else doing this?
 
I'm thinking about it...I tried one for a challenge a couple years ago, but did not finish. I have photos from yesterday, and the template set Cornelia has is perfect.

I wanted to do the Lego Advent with my sons but I can't find it ANYWHERE! Not even online :(
I am going to do a photo challenge with some friends though... Or at least try to. Normally I totally forget about it and then have to do 3 or 4 days at one time....

My ex-husband found the Lego calendar for our youngest... have no idea where he got it. I would imagine that they are hard to come by, though!
 
Yes we've done lego advent a few times in the past, last year we didn't, but this year both my older 2 received one from my parents, they bought them on Amazon.


I've never done a Dec Daily - but I do p365, so I always have the photos everyday...
 
I have a hard time with things that are daily. I am more a "mostly daily" kinda gal. So any of these advents, December daily, 30 days Thankful, P365, etc - ya, I just suck at them. So, my kids have never gotten an advent and with everything going on this month, I just know that I would never pull off a DD. I do take pictures almost every day - almost!
 
LOL.... already missed taking photos yesterday! I suppose I can take some today and "pretend" that they were from yesterday, right? ;)
 
Yeah that amazon price is CRAZY! And everywhere else is sold out online and in store. Guess I might have to improvise and see if I can find directions somewhere online to make my own!
And P.S. I too forgot to take yesterday's photo! lol
 
I don't do the December Daily. I already do P365, so it feels redundant to me to add another day in the life project! ;) Have fun and good luck!!! :D

My main goal is to take a lot of pictures and write a few stories. I can always go back and do the actual scrapping later :)It's hard every year for me to get into the Christmas spirit since I'm so far away from my family and we never get to spend t with my stepson so it's just me, my husband, and our kitty. Sometimes it's a bit of "fake it til you make it", but I always end up enjoying the holidays more if I have a project going on too.

Today, it's just started, so I'm not sure.

Also, YAY FOR Lego Advent Calendars! My kids both got one this year! First year we've gotten them BEFORE Christmas hehe



We'll get the Star Wars one my husband wanted AFTER Christmas ;)
 
Apparently my ex got the calendar at Toys R Us for $29...much better than the Amazon price!

I should have taken pictures of all the ice this morning..... it will probably be melted by the time I get home!

I want to include routine things like that in my DD this year too. I got some sparkly green and red polish so when I do my nails, that will definitely get a page

Mine are purple, with a gold accent finger and a silver accent finger. :D
Purple's my happy color and since December is my birth month, purple is my go-to holiday color, as well, hehe
 
I got one page done... and took photos today. :)

I'm not disciplined enough, couldn't keep up with the Project 365/52 when I started earlier this year. Didn't help that my camera died shortly after I started. I'm psyching myself up to give it another go when it starts next year.
 
I do P52 tried the December Daily a few years ago and failed so I am sticking to taking pics of Bob the Elf each day and scrapping those. The kids like looking at the Bob books and seeing what he got into each year. Sadly I am behind on that one as well. I have done pages this year but none last year. :) I am trying to keep up with 2014 then I will worry about 2005 and on!
 
Good job Lori! I went on a spree and made a bunch of pages for DD yesterday. I'll post those up today.
 
I love the idea of an Elf on the Shelf book! FUN!

I'm SO BEHIND on this!
I have Days 01-02, and 04-07, hehe
And that's it.
Pictures galore for most days, but the past week, I was sick, and UGH! Not much was done (I scrapped like 2 pages in that time).

But I'll have time in the following days!

When are you all stopping the dailies? Christmas Day or New Year's Eve?
 
I'm shooting for NY day. Our wedding anniversary is Dec. 28th so I at least want to get that far.
 
I'll say that I'm stopping on Christmas Day, and even at that I'll be lucky to get all of my pages done LOL! :) My vacation is half over and I haven't done a whole heck of a lot yet...
