I've been writing poems here and there. I'm really enjoying it as it makes me relax a bit and use my mind creatively. So yesterday when I was doing my story for #December Daily I wrote this:
Time to plan the meals for the week
Which triplet should I seek?
The list is getting long
Who will come along
Victoria is the one who is home
She will come and buy a comb
But first we need to eat
Popeyes will be a treat
Classic Chicken sandwich is what we got
25 points is a lot
Won't be getting that again
I sure hope I don't gain
Shoprite was our next stop
Fill the cart to the top
Hoping that things won't drop
As we continued to shop
We had so much stuff
Hoping we got enough
Evan helps carry in
Where has Naomi been?
Justin helped put away
It was a long day.
Hopefully I will carry on with my poems throughout 2022 and include them within my layouts.
