Hi there! :)

I find myself with an abundance of wonderful Christmas kits this time of year, and I was wondering what you all take pictures of to use with your Christmas kits. I'll start us off with a few of my own ideas, then I'd like to see what you guys do, if you would please. I need more ideas!

Your nativities
Your favorite Christmas tree ornaments
Decorations around your house
Christmas tree
Christmas villages
People unwrapping presents
Pictures of gifts
Picture of crumpled wrapping paper
 
Pets are always fun to take photos of.
Holiday snacks and drinks
I really love walking around town and taking pictures of shop window displays and how businesses decorate.
Christmas cards.
Holiday outfits, fuzzy socks, your winter coat (or summer clothes if you live where it's hot)
If you do any crafting or baking or making gifts
Your town's Christmas tree or menorah
Dishes you bring out on special occasions.
Seasonal books, music, movies (you can get screenshots from your phone if you listen there)
 
These are great ideas (reminders!), thanks ladies! The older I get the less photos I seem to take. Which is not helpful when I love to scrapbook. ��

Another thing I do is take a picture of almost every Christmas tree I see as I'm going around living my life. I just love how different trees are decorated. So if you have a particular thing you love about the season, whether it's trees, nativity scenes, Santas, etc. look for those things and snap a picture. I think of it almost like a game, how many trees can I get in one weekend while we're out running errands. (I should make a LO about that)
 
The before, during, and after....
* prepping for meals, cooking meals, and the aftermath
* laying out the kids gift game, assembling the game, and then the kids playing the game
* the pile of Amazon boxes, the process of wrapping the presents, and the stack of nicely wrapped gifts

I enjoy the process of making the Christmas magic come to life! :)

Oh... and hubby suggests all of the Christmas movies that are on TV, as well! :)
 
I also take pictures around the neighbourhood of the beautifully decorated houses.
