Ceiling Fans

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I did but sure not ready for work tomorrow.

Next month I go on Vacation....well staycation. We will be working on home improvements and we need two new ceiling fans. We have two in our living room and one went out. The fans are very pretty and my husband wants to fix the broken one but I want to do some updating. I love the fixer upper look.

I'm not having fun looking for fans....what are your favorite ones and does it put off good lighting. There have been a few I like but they don't look like they would put off very much light.

What a fun staycation! I love the home improvement results but not the actually doing of the home improvements.
I really like the Hunter fans with the remotes and solid built look to them; but because I get migraines, I stay away from lighting on a fan. I would do lamps for lighting and a fan to circulate the air. Good luck to you. Be sure to take before and after pictures.

I order these a lot for home we renovate at work. I too find a lot of the new ones aren't very bright. It's all about the bulbs they use. I like the old school bulbs so I can control the brightness.

I bought some, put one of them up.....It looked like crap! So needless to say, they are going back. Now to start my search again.

Watching this with interest - we need to get a ceiling fan for Melissa's room. It's on the South side of the house, and it gets direct sun a lot!

Girl.....I'm still looking! I hated the ones we got. It's so hard to pick one. I love the Fixer Upper style. I'll hope we find some soon because now there is no fan/light up at all.
