Catching up on LO's!

So, I am a *little* bit behind on scrapbooking. I'm pretty caught up for the first 5 months of our daughter's life. Which sounds great--but that daughter is now almost 14 and I have 7 more children! So, I'm kind of overwhelmed at what is not done. So, do any of you have a system. I'm a "list" maker and very OCD. I feel like I should start with the oldest month of digital photos that I have (December 2002) and work through each month. It seems overwhelming, but skipping around seems like I will likely not get a lot of it done. I'd love to hear what you ladies have done. What has worked, what hasn't? I have a giant box of paper pictures to work through too, but those will be done with the paper supplies. :)
Looking forward to your amazing feedback and great ideas!!

You are my idol!! With 8 children I am amazed that you even find time to scrap!!! Go YOU!!

I am actually very much a list maker and very organized in all aspects of my life EXCEPT for scrapbooking. I just scrap what I feel like when I feel like. I still have photos of my 16-yo to scrap from birth to present - I don't scrap in order at all.

I'm a big list maker. I have lists and lists of things I want to scrap, but I know not everyone wants to do it that way. It can be overwhelming. But for me, my lists are just so I don't forget things. I scrap whatever I want, whenever I want, in whatever order I want. I say, scrap whatever is inspiring you! Whether that's current pics or baby pics, or a combination of both.

Thanks ladies! Maybe I will just make a list of the months/years on a piece of paper and work through them as I feel inspired, then I can both cross them off and not forget what I've done! Seems less daunting than going 1 month at a time! :) Also gives me the "fun blessing" of scrapping the new stuff right along side! :)

I also have no system. Just scrap what you want. You don't have to preserve every memory. Do what you feel comfortable and are able to get done!

I am am also bowing down to you out of sheer respect and awe. I have two kids and get overwhelmed some days..I can't imagine having 8! You rock!

I don't have a system. I'm thankful for digiscrapping because as a paper scrapper (Creative Memories albums) I was SO worried about doing things out of order because the page order would be wrong! I love that I can work on whatever I want whenever I want!

I save my TIFF files in my photo files once I'm done so that I know when I've already scrapped something.

I still have BOXES of old photos, papers, negatives, etc to scan. My kids are 23, 16 and 15. I am nowhere near caught up. That you have 8 kids and still find time to scrap is simply amazing! Good for you!!
