a photo book company. One that you've used and are happy with. One that you don't have to do a lot of figuring out how to make it work with a bleed. I am not a techie, thanks?

I make books for my husbands horse riding group every year and have found Costco to be the cheapest. They are lay flat books but you do have to worry about the edges being cut off. I put guides around my pages at 1/8" and assume that will be cut off. When you load the pages into the Costco program you can see what will be cut off on the edges. For me I try not to have photos or elements moving across two pages because of that or if I do I adjust the spacing to fit if it is a big deal. I know that doesn't solve your "no bleed" request but it does work for me 99% of the time and the cost out weighs anything I have to do to make it work.

I also use Shutterfly. I make 8x8 books. I take my pages and make then 7 1/2" and put them on a 8x8 white background to load them into the book and have not problem with anything being cut off. I wait until books are half off and order enough to get free shipping also. It makes them about $15. When I do the journal books, I wait until they have free extra pages and get free shipping also with the books 40% off. My 100 page books then cost about $20.

Here in Canada we don’t get the choices and great pricing available in the US but one of my best options is Blurb.

NICE! I will have to figure out how to do that if and when I actually get enough pages done to want to print a book.

I like this idea. I was just talking to my boys today telling them that we really need to get pics off cell phones so that they can enjoy sitting down and thumbing through books. When we visit my family in Louisiana, everyone ALWAYS enjoys looking at old pics. If they are on a cell phone, you just can't enjoy them. I've got a lot of work ahead of me!!

I also used Shutterfly for a softcover 8x8 book of my floral macro photography. Super easy to put together online and came out perfect! I'm working on another one now as a gift for my son with layouts.

Does the 8X8 look small to you? I been thinking of printing that size but unsure how small photos/journaling is.

8x8 is small to me for my family albums. I print 8x8 for gifts for the grandparents and other family members, but for my personal family albums I always print 10x10.
