Hi Everyone! I'm Theresa (aka Scrapper69) and I'm not new to scrapbooking or digital scrapbooking... Just new to this forum - :D I've been a scrapper for over 20 years.... and I stopped making scrapbook pages several years back... I'm more of a card maker now... been doing that for a lot of years as well... Been on several design teams and I LOVE digital papers, embellishments, & more... So I incorporate my Digital kits into card designs... I still make cards with regular papers and stuff... But I LOVE making Digital Hybrid types of cards... It's so fun to mix traditional with non-traditional... I've been enjoying the designs made by Connie Prince... and playing with my digital programs mixing and matching things... I recently was thinking about getting back into scrapbooking... 2.0 version of course (Digital) :) and been seeing how far digital scrapbooking has come... I'm hoping to find tips, tricks and inspiration from all of you to help me back into digital scrapbooking pages... I have a son who is getting out of the military soon and I've been wanting to make him an album.... So any ideas or layouts you have that'll help me get started would be great! He's in the Marines... and I saw the beautiful military kit Connie put out and I'm planning on adding it to my collection and making an album for him with all the photo's I've collected from him - Wish me luck with that! LOL

I currently live in Utah (St. George) area - so if any of you are from this area, give me a shout out! :)

I hope you settle in and enjoy being here. I am also a card maker and enjoy making hybrid ones.
Do not hesitate to ask for any help you may need and when asking for help always share what program you are using to create.
 
Hi Theresa! I was a paper scrapper and card maker for many yrs, then switched over to digi about 6 yrs ago. I still make hybrid cards now and again.
 
Sorry I am so VERY late welcoming you! I do a lot of card scrapping too. I checked out your gallery and nothing yet, I hope you do post some of your stuff soon :) You will love all the inspiration and things we do here. It is such a wonderful site and so very welcoming.

Tutorials are really useful and can help you through the learning curve. There are all kinds of things to help you along.

Challenges are a great way to get some scrapping done.

And... don't underestimate the power of getting to know people - pop into the Everyday chatter forum and jump in!
