for the holidays this year because of how crappy it all was, or are you going to stay understated? Me? I plan on A Griswold Christmas!!!
 
We tend to have a very simple Christmas anyway, so I don't think anything will change. Our family is quite small so our gathering will be less than 10...as long as everyone stays healthy.

I did treat myself to a new pre-lit Christmas Tree this year...got a good deal at Lowe's and my other artificial tree is almost 30 years old and losing it's needles and looking a little "Charlie Brown".
 
Grizwald Christmas! I love it! Our Christmas will be very small with people, but hopefully very big with decorations and food. We'll see how well our new cat takes to things though. This will be our first Christmas with her and she's a climber, so we might need to reassess the Christmas tree decorations.

We got a pre-lit tree 3 years ago and I LOVE IT!!! Even though it doesn't smell as pretty - it is such a good one that it doesn't look fake.

We only have 12, if everyone comes.
 
This will be my first year as an empty nester so I’ll miss the pre-season family movie nights etc. But I’m a glass-half-full kinda gal so I’ll still be decorating and baking and jamming to Christmas music alone while hubby rolls his eyes. :) We’ll get together often with our close group of friends which is always a blessing. And both girls will be home for Christmas for a week or so. They’re very much still little kids when it comes to holidays. Sydney and her roommate already put a tree up in their college apartment. (Eye roll) We’ve postponed our extended family Christmas get-together but I’m okay with that. It’s the most stressful part of the holidays for me. :(
PS Pre-lit is the only tree for me!!

Oh dear, at first I read this as “we only have 12 (meaning Christmas trees)” and I thought... wow!! ��

My boyfriend is a big kid (We often joke he's only 5 lol) so Christmas will be a big to-do. Plus it's his first with my boys so he's already planning to spoil them rotten (insert eye roll here)
I got furloughed at work this week :( So I'm looking forward to going all out since I will have more time on my hands!
