Are You Doing a Project 52/365?

I'm having a heck of a time deciding what to do for 2021. I have been using the same templates types for the past 5 years and I want to do something different. What are you doing for your projects?

I love how Katherine does hers daily. So much detail! I could probably never keep up with that.

I'll probably keep ding my "one page for every three days" routine. I'm thinking of not doing every month though, or doing something different each month. I'm very loosey goosey with the whole thing, so I'm not much help.

Juli does have some unique templates that offer lots more room for journaling. I really like the vertical style, like a memory planner.
Monthly Write-Ups One and Two

I’ve switched to doing one layout for the 14th of the month. A two page spread. Then I’ll a single page of a various date up to the 14th , and one single page lo for a date after the 14th. Each month will have four pages. Kind of encapsulated. No idea what to call it.

I don't do a traditional 12/52 with all of my photos, but I do what I have named my Little Moments Project. I make a point of taking at least one photo every day, often being those little moments that don't always show up in my regular "free style" layouts. I do this project pocket style with each day's photo designed in it's own pocket and then brought into a pocket template. This is my 3rd year to do this project and I really enjoy it. I found I was taking random photos but they just stayed on my camera roll rarely being seen again and this project gives them a place to be. Some photos do end up in a layout of their own too, but it is nice looking back through this weekly project and being able to see at a glance the little moments of each day.

I have been using Ponytail's pages for a while. I use her for one side, with mostly pictures and then on the other side I use a template with plenty of journaling. I keep a daily journal in notepad in text format in the same folders. I have the journal laid out for the whole year and the weeks for the whole year. I use an excel spreadsheet to calculate days and dates. Then I just add photos to the folders and when I can get around to it, I scrap the pages.

I have added Miss Fishes Weekly Write Up templates:

I really like these.

It takes a few hours to set up at the beginning of the year, but once it is set up, i just have to pick a few pages and scrap, and I am way behind. I do random weeks, but have the other ones to fill in.

Planning like this is a really cool idea. Although for some reason I can't stick to the annual plan. Although I didn't plan in detail, I set goals for the year. As a result, some could not be fulfilled at all, some goals were changed to others or modified. In general, I cannot go strictly along the intended path.

I love reading about how everyone is doing their pages. I guess I'm really traditional. I finally found what I'm going to use, but it's not something that's sold here, so I can't share it. I have been using Tinci Design's all this year, but I'm looking for a more artsy type, so I finally found that over at the 'pad.

I am doing my pages monthly this year. One page with photos taken during the month and the second page totally journaling with some embellishments which will match the photo page.
