Anyone started Christmas shopping yet?

With my surgery in 2 weeks (!!) I want to be almost done by then. I have gotten a few things for the kids, but not even close to being done! I will go this weekend and try to finish up the main gifts. I have some stuff to order online, but that can be done anytime. :)

I don't think I will be able to go to the mall with the crowds for at least a week or two after surgery, so hoping I can get the last minute stuff done too. (stockings etc)

Have any of you finished or even started yet?

It feels like it's coming so quickly!

Not started yet. We're trying to figure out whether or not we can get Charles here for Christmas. It will be SO much easier next summer when he's 15 and can fly as an adult on most airlines. We'll probably hold off on buying for him until that gets settled. We don't buy for each other or anyone else, so our Christmases are super simple in that way.

I started in September; and I am done. I hate feeling stressed over buying and spending the money. I buy a little hear and there. Allows me to actually enjoy Christmas.

I would buy everything online if I was in your shoes Trace! I buy most mine online anyway.

We don't really get gifts anymore. We usually just give everyone cash or gift cards, especially all the kids. Then for the aunt/uncles, we'll get some bath and body goodies.

But I do want to start my list now, thanks for the push!

Yes, I've started! This will be the first time in four years that we buy Christmas gifts for each other (didn't have the money for it while I was back at university), so we started early. Hope to be done this weekend!

Last minute shopper here, I do most of it in the last two weeks. I cannot get into the Christmas spirit before then. I wish the stores would not start promoting Christmas was back in August or September, it would be so much nicer to have Christmas start in the stores late November and December.

our Christmas tree is ready but the children don't have done their list. they don't know what they want and they are to yound for gift cards. I'm a bit anxious because I have no idea for their gifts...

I'm about half done but I have a really small family. I have some things to get for Cheyanne still mostly because I spread it out over my paychecks. I have my parents, 2 sisters, and my one niece and nephew done and my 2 grand kids done. Not sure what I'm doing for my son and his wife yet... they just moved over the summer (a lot closer to where I live!) and they're still finishing the decorating on their home so probably something along that vein.

By now...i would normally be 99% done shopping! But I broke my heel 3.5 months ago..which included 2.5 months in a hard cast and another month in a walking boot. I literally just got the boot off yesterday, and I am getting used to walking again...and it isn't easy. BUT...I already placed a few big online orders. I'm hoping I can find the rest online as well, because I am just not up to walking around shopping just yet!

So glad you finally got that off!

I finished today! Ordered a few things online, but got all the main gifts at the mall. Then FIL decided to give me money to buy the kids gifts from him because he didn't feel like doing it.

Got those today! I have quite a few deliveries coming this week..

i just have have stocking stuffers left now. I,m so proud of myself.

Woohoo!

I actually started and finished this weekend (except for stocking stuffers)! :) It's sort of exciting that I am already done and scored awesome deals!

I have a few things, but still a lot to do.
My daughter and I go at midnight on Black Friday... I know this sounds scary... LOL
I always thought it sounded fun, but was to freaked out by all the news stories (I REALLY don't like big crowds). One year my daughter talked me into it and said we can just leave if it was too crazy, low and behold, it was virtually empty! We live in a pretty small town the "city" is about 45 minutes away, but our small local Target is 25 minutes away and it was a ghost town!
There were maybe 20 other people in there! We shopped leisurely and they have the in-store Starbucks, which they had open, so we stopped and relaxed a few times when I needed a break.
It was so fun that now we go every year.
So (for any of you that still need to shop) if you live in a smaller area, it might be worth checking out the late night Black Friday sales :)

I totally did- which is rare for me, lol. I'm done with my kids! But just when I feel relief that I'm done with my kids I realize the hardest part is still to come... the in laws and my parents!

I have 2 of my 5 kids completed. Chan and I don't really buy each other gifts. But I have told him I'd really really like one of those cordless Dysons so I can vacuum my stairs easier and with all my back pain I really need something light weight and something that will really "suck" LOL. The hardest part now that all my kids are older is coming up with stuff for their stockings. There are always gift cards in there and some candy, but just not really sure what else to put in.
