As a single mom with 3 teenage boys who eat ALL.THE.TIME., I need to save money anywhere I can. I tried to get into using coupons last year, but didn't get far and kind of gave up. This year I bought myself a wireless printer for Christmas and have started following a couple of blogs, plus using Savings Catcher and Bluebird at Walmart and Savingstar at a bunch of stores. So far so good.... the other day I was quite proud of my purchases at Shaws... spent $18 and got 3 packages of ground turkey, a pork roast, 5 boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese, 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper (not my fave, but a once in a while quick meal), 2 bags of Food Should Taste Good chips, and 2 Chobani yogurts. I'm getting there... I don't want to be a crazy couponer who buys stuff that I would never eat, and I don't have room for a huge stockpile, but my goal is to stock up my freezer and pantry over the next couple of months so that I can drastically reduce my weekly bill.
