Albums: D-ring v. post bound

Does anyone know where I can get 8x8 D-ring albums? Michael's seems to only be carrying post bound (at least in my area) and I'm not having much luck online either.

Alternate question- does anyone use (and love) post bound? I've always thought they would be a pain in the behind to work with, but that might be my only option....

No idea on the D ring for 8x8. I have several post bound, and they are fine. If/when you purchase the added pages [sold separately], try to get the same brand...[helps for the page size and holes lining up] and don't lose the extender posts.

I do like the post bound. Although to add pages in the middle is a pain, I much prefer it to D Ring.
Binder rings seem to lose their snap as time goes on - either shifting so that they don't close correctly or just getting the pages stuck in them - regular ones, I mean, and I wouldn't want that to happen with my photos.
Once post bound are put together, they are solid.

I have used post bound in the past, and yes a pain to add pages to the middle, and make sure you use the same brand as not all the holes line up and that's a major pain too.

I've switched now to only doing bound books, harder to wait to have an entire year before printing, but they take up less space on my shelf, and at the rate I'm scrapping, I need the space ;)

I've done a few bound books, but it drives me nuts to wait. I need to have a steady stream of newly printed pages to make me optimally happy.

I'll be going around town tonight continuing the search. Wish me luck!

I used post in the past and didn't like it. Exactly what Trina said - pain to add pages (I think in general), need to make sure to have the same brand page protectors as the album. I just don't like them.

Is D-ring the same as the 3 ring binder kind?

I also like the bound books because they take up less space!

I just bought a 12x12 3 ring album from Becky Higgins. The kids have been asking for an Elf on the Shelf album! lol
