ACTIONS AND STYLES...what are your favourites?

Do you have actions and/or styles that you go to all the time? What are they? Do you create your own? Freebies? Purchased? Tell me all your opinions about actions and styles (and if you know of some really good freebie ones, tip me the nod:))

Seatrout Scraps, Created by Jill and Wendy Tunisan are the 3 styles I use. I also tweak them afterwards and make my own too.

I use several free ones from The Coffee Shop Blog and My 4 Hens. I have also purchased a couple from My 4 Hens. I have a few free ones that the Pioneer Woman did a few years back but I'm not sure if she still has them up for free.

I have some free ones from the Coffee shop too. However, I mostly use Rachel's set (Seatrout's) that she made for her CT and I also use an older set from Megan Turnidge that I got when I first started scrapping.

When I had a trial version of Photoshop, I created an action to convert psd files to tiff. I use that one a lot. I wish I could afford Photoshop. I also purchased a supply tracker which I use on every layout. I also have a bunch of other actions that I've gotten with classes I've taken. I use my glitter styles a lot :36_1_33:

I just got the newest version of PSE, so I'm in the process of deciding what to install. The first four things I installed were-

RadLab (definitely not free, but I do like Pioneer Woman and the Coffeeshop blog for freebies)

AutoSave actions from Wendyzine, which save in jpeg and for the web

Rock the shadows styles by Tracie Stroud

and Title Builder actions by Anna Forrest, which I sadly have not gotten to work yet, but I'm still trying.

I also came across a free credit tracking script yesterday called cvw supply tracker that might be useful if you use more than one kit when you scrap.

Thanks for the replies ladies:) I have the Pioneer Woman ones and a couple of others that I use sometimes. I haven't ever bought any although I have been tempted. I have a free shadows one that I got off a blog or somewhere that I use quite a bit with a few tweaks. Oh and I just remembered that I have a coffee Shop rounded corners one that I have used a few times too. I collect them off the internet (just because they are free probably:)) and often never use them...a little bit like recipes:(

...and I remembered a couple of others that I use quite often...they are silver and gold styles. However, I have noticed that they create nice sparkly titles or whatever I am using them on while the doc is in layered format but after flattening it loses its sparkle. Any ideas?

Oh I have so many! And I cannot remember which shadow one [although I still altered it], I was using the most often. Now that I have a new computer, I need to figure out which one it was.

In addition to what is mentioned above, Panos has some awesome actions! Many are free.

Not familiar with RadLab.

As for 'tracking' the stuff in your LO...I drag from the folder it is in right into my LO [as a layer] and it lists the kit and item however the designer named it.

I love Radlab. I also have a set of MCP actions that I use to save to web and for photo editing. I use the Tracy Stroud shadows actions. I also use an action called supply tracker to keep the credits I use for my layouts.

3 of my favorites that I use on every layout -

1. - Title builders by Anna Forrest. She sells them now on Etsy. I got my first one as a freebie. Horizontal, vertical and wonky titles in 30 seconds or less.

2. first a freebie from Persnickety Prints that splits my double layouts into 2 single 12x12 layouts. Here's the link if you're interested - https://blog.persnicketyprints.com/12x24-resize-action/

3. - Save for web - Mine is retired by CrossBone Cuts.

And one more that I use a lot, but not on every layout is a matting action by Wendy Tunison.

No - I haven't sold any - but have thought about adding them to our store! :)

I have an action that cuts our 24x12 templates into 2 - 12x12s. I have an action for saving for the web that I made. I have an action that I made for chopping my alphas apart when I make an alpha. I have actions for making new layers (for different types of ellies when I'm designing templates) and actions for renaming or recoloring or saving from psd to tiff. That's just what I can think of off the top of my head ;)
