Acess denied after updating to Windows 10

Several of my files are now inaccessible to me - apparently Windows 7 encrypted all files that were created on a Mac, and now Windows 10 doesn't recognise them, or won't allow me to access them. Has anyone else had this problem and found a workaround?
 
Call 1-877-696-7786 Microsoft. Ask to speak to 'representative'. You get a real person. The other number is just a recording.

Thanks for the replies. I'm in the UK, but I have been in touch with Microsoft and they were no help. Or rather the "solutions" they offered didn't work. It's so frustrating. I have user and admin access on my pc, the files are set so that users, admin (and everyone, in an attempt to let me at them) should be able to open them, but it keeps telling me I don't have access and to check permissions. *rolls eyes* I've checked permissions, and they say I have access you diabolical machine :P
