2026 welcome wagon

I just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly 🙂 It sounds like you might be referring to the right sidebar that shows the New Posts. That section is automatically generated - whenever a new post is made, it appears there until it gets pushed down by newer activity.

There isn’t currently a way to turn that feature off, but you can certainly scroll past it if it’s not something you want to follow.

If I misunderstood what you meant, please feel free to clarify and I’ll be happy to help!
 
@GingerScraps I think Cath is referring to what I also do when I visit the forum. I click on the "New Posts" top left to see what new posts have been shared. The problem lately is so many many new posts because of all the "thanks" for the new welcome wagon free kits.
I doubt that there is any way to stop this happening so that less of those are shown when you ask for new posts.

The only solution in a sense is to first click on the "The Gingerscraps Welcome Wagon" and then click on "Mark Read" over on the right side.
Then click on the "New Posts" to see what new posts there are.

You must click on the title "The Gingerscraps Welcome Wagon" then look to the right and see "Mark Read" - a pop up will appear and you click on "Mark forum read". It will only stop the posts in that section not the whole forum.
