I worked a twelve hour day today so I am eating dinner right now, 9:45pm!!! Sadly when I close this is when I usually eat. If I open I eat around 7pm. How about you? What time is dinner generally served?

Dinner is usually whenever I feel like it. We don't have a "set" time. But anywhere from 5:30-8:00 is the norm around here. LOL

Usually I try to have dinner ready about 6 during the week so that my sons can get into bed for school the next day. On Friday's we don't eat until about 8:30 so that at lest one night a week my dad, who works until 8pm, has at least one dinner he doesn't have to re-heat.

It used to be 5:15, but since my hubby has taken a new job (almost 2 years ago now!) he works an hour away, so doesn't get home until 6 (or most days later) so we eat whenever he gets home. Which is tough some nights as I like to get my 5 year old to bed by 7 on his school nights - he NEEDS it!!

We usually eat by 5:30 most weeknights. DH has meetings during the week. Sometimes he eats there and sometimes not. This week, for example, he had a dinner meeting on Monday, Wed, and now tonight. Those nights, the kids and I usually eat between 5 and 5:30 because they are hungry after school.

Weekends, we eat between 6-7 depending on what we are doing.

Wow, Danica! That's a long day.
We usually eat dinner anywhere between 6 and about 8:30. It just depends on what's going on. My kids are older and it seems like our "schedule" can't even be called a "schedule" more like sort of contained chaos! LOL! :D

I'm with Kim and Tammy.... with different kids in different sports, practice times are, well, different....lol
My hubs also works 12 hour shifts and does not get home until past 8, he usually doesn't eat with us when he works.
For us anytime between 6-9 works, lol....

Supper here revolves around sports - practices and games. It could be as early as 4:30 pm or as late as 8 pm. Tonight was 5:30 since Cheyanne had practice until 5. Home game nights are usually 7:30 pm and then it's not so much a meal as it is raiding the fridge for a salad or something like that. Next week she has practice from 5:30 to 7:30 so we'll eat around 4:30 so she can leave here at 5.

Dinner is between 5:30 and 6:00 here- my oldest is 6 and all three of my kids have an 8:00 bedtime. I would prefer dinner at 5 (as would they, since they always think they're starving to death)- but then they'd never get to have dinner with Dad. I grew up having dinner at 4:30! Government worker dad - he was home every day at 4!
