11/25/2015 RQOTD What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Are you hosting this year or traveling. I have to work all day today so traveling is out of the question. It is just me and my husband this year. I will be making a turkey breast with some sides. I also work Friday so it was really hard to go anywhere. What are your plans if any?
 
My parents and brother live in the same town as I do, so it is easy for us to just get together. We usually have Thanksgicing at their house and xmas at mine.
 
Usually we have Thanksgiving at our house, but my Aunt asked if she could host and cook it this year and my mom agreed (yay!) so we're all going to her place. She lives about 15 minutes away so I guess we're "traveling" if you wanna call it that! lol I'm looking forward to not having to cook since I hurt my knee and can't really walk or stand for long periods of time :)
 
Since my Thanksgiving was last month, I will be watching the Macy's Parade on TV and then the Dog show. Those are my "It's the US's Thanksgiving/kickoff to the holidays" traditions. :)

I love the Macy's parade. I'd like to go one year and see it live. :)
 
Usually we have Thanksgiving dinner {lunch} at my Grandparent's house, but my Grandpa is 101 years old and can't really handle all of the chaos that the holidays involve. So, my mom is hosting at her house this year, and then taking a meal over to Grandpa.
Last year after {lunch} we went to the beach which was really nice, but this year, my my daughter's In-Laws' are having Thanksgiving dinner. So, we'll be going to their house for Thanksgiving dinner - Round Two :)
