11/17/2015 RQOTD Bond, James Bond

Any one here like the Bond movies? Have a favorite or a favorite Bond? We are about to go see SPECTRE and I am excited. I will be back with the answer to my question after the show.
 
I have to say my favorite Bond is Daniel Craig and I only like and watch the Bond movies with him hehe
 
My husband is a huge Bond fan, but I have never seen any. He goes to the movies with my dad when they come out :)
 
I had a hard time when Daniel Craig took over as Bond because I enjoyed the "campiness" of Bond prior to him. They seemed way too serious when Daniel Craig became Bond. I have come to enjoy them now, but it took time. I still haven't seen Spectre, though. I probably won't see it until it's on DVD...or maybe at the "dollar theater."
My favorite Bond is probably still Sean Connery :)
 
I really liked the movie. It gave some nice background and pretty much closed up the Daniel Craig as James Bond series. No spoilers, but he is not coming back as Bond, and I think they ended it well. Was it predictable? Yes. But that was okay. Hubby did not like it. He too prefers the campy Bonds. He also thinks the new ones are too dark. I have grown to love the tormented broody Daniel Craig Bond.

My favorite James Bond movie is Live and Let Die. I think it has the best song and I love New Orleans so it has that going for it.

As as far as actors, my favorites are Daniel, Sean Connery, and Pierce Brosnan, but not necessarily in that order, it depends on the film.
 
I loved Roger Moore's Bond, but Connery is my fave. I haven't seen any with Craig.

My dad used to drag us to them all when we were kids at the drive in. lol.

My favourite Bond Movie is MoonRaker (is that the one with the Character JAWS?)
 
I've seen all the Bond movies dating back to the beginning. We saw Spectre last week.

I read about Daniel Craig not returning...but then my brother saw an interview of him [Today show] after that statement [retirement] was made. He then stated he said it as he was tired after the filming of Spectre. After resting...he would decide.

So who knows.

I love the Bond movies. I have seen all of them more than once! We saw Spectre and really enjoyed it. I don't know if I have a favorite Bond movie. I like them all for different reasons. :)
 
I'm not a huge fan but I'm hearing Bond, James Bond in Connery's voice, so I'm pretty sure that screams he's my favorite ;)

i have different favorite ones depending on the actor. Casino Royale is my fave Craig and GoldenEye is my favorite Brosnan. Connery is difficult to narrow down.

what did you think of SPECTRE?
 
Enjoyed Spectre. Very gorey...and not as many cool gadgets some of the others have had.
we sat in the big ol' plush movie seats. ( theater renovated ). It was fun.

My step-dad was British, so we saw all the Bond movies. I loved Jaws! I need to play that one for my boys!
