01/14/2016 RQOTD Do you watch sports on television?

My hubby is not a huge sports guy, so I don't have to watch sports that often on tv. When I was younger I did enjoy watching baseball. Go Cubs? Are you a sports fan? If so which?
 
It seems like there is always sports on in my house. My husband and I are Pittsburgh Penguin fans {hockey}, so I try to watch every game that is on tv. He is also a big sports fan, so if there isn't a hockey game on, it's baseball (Orioles) , college basketball (Duke), football (Dolphins), Nascar (Dale Jr.), or if there isn't a game on...there is always ESPN! It amazes me sometimes how he can remember sports statistics like he does, but can't remember to take out the trash! But, I think I'll keep him anyway. My daughter is really into softball, so she likes to watch the women's games when they are on tv, too. My boys are only 8 and 5, so they don't really care to watch it much.
 
Yep....

We watch the Leafs (NHL) of course. We watch the Jays (baseball) too.

I watch figure skating and I love watching speed skating and luge. I watch the entire Olympics when on. I love to watch gymnastics too but it's not on here much anymore.

The only sports I don't like to watch are things like Skiing and soccer or football. I'd watch Golf over football! LOL.
 
My hubby and boys love to watch the San Antonio Spurs Basketball team as well as Virginia Tech Basketball and Football. Hubby watches college and pro football as well as golf so yeah sports are on here a lot and we don't even have cable. He uses the computer though to stream it online....
 
Yes - Bruins (hockey), Red Sox (baseball), and NE Patriots (football) as well as pretty much any women's college basketball and women's college softball.

WE LOVE to watch sports... Most all of them. Our favorites:
Football- Buccaneers; FSU, USF [along with several other collegiate teams]
Baseball- Rays
Hockey- Lightning

as long as it is on... we will watch!

I'm a HUGE College/High School Football fan. (Hook 'em Horns!) but that's about it. My Dad will watch some NFL football and I'll sit down and watch an quarter or two with him, but there really isn't a team I root for... I will watch the occasional Spurs game (I am a San Antonio girl after all) but I'm not a die hard fan. Basketball was never my thing.
I'm an Astro's fan, but I'm also a firm believer that the only way to watch a Baseball game is if you are there in person. TV and Baseball shouldn't mix.
 
Not at all!! Hubby will watch basketball once in a while, and likes watching the playoffs & the Superbowl. He likes volleyball & skateboarding, but doesn't watch them very much (thankfully!)

My daughter married in to a huge sports family... her hubby played basketball into college and an uncle and cousin coach high school football and the other plays college football.

My boys don't like sports at all and threatened (playfully) to walk out of family get-togethers if they put sports on! LOL!
