Tonite hubby made dinner. He makes a wonderful spaghetti sauce from scratch. And it is so tasty! And I didn't have to cook either. Yay!

My hubby IS the cook! However, I made dinner this evening....crock pot Chicken Tortilla Soup - and it was a "keeper" according to the kids! Yeah ME!!!!

When DH was alive he didn't cook during the week because of his work but he did enjoy cooking on the weekend or when he was on holiday routine and was home more. Of course I was vegetarian and he was omni so his cooking basically meant grilling a slab of meat to go with whatever I was having - LOL

Yes! I'd say we share the cooking. SOme things my husband prefers to cook, like anything on the grill, and that's fine with me because he NEVER does the dishes {unless I'm sick}.

Yes, maybe 50% of the time, but his cooking usually involves the grill. We grill all year round, even in the snow. Neighbors think we are crazy!

Yes he does but not often enough for my liking! He's an amazing cook and baker he just doesn't really ever have the time. Way better than me in my opinion. Probably because he is so OCD everything is always perfect. I just toss stuff in til it tastes good. LOL

Did you know that if you are making hard boiled eggs and leave eggs boiling indefinitely that they explode? And exploding egg shells can actually impale you? Well, they do. And that is just ONE of the many many (many) reasons why my husband is no longer allowed to cook. Ever.

First of all, Diane? That's the most HILARIOUS thing I've ever read! Thanks for the HUGE laugh!!! :D

My husband's a phenomenal cook. He doesn't put those skills to use anywhere near often enough, lol...but I'll take it any time I can get it :)

My husband *CAN* cook, he just prefers not to. With me at home, I do 99% of the cooking. He will cook for himself if I'm out or away with the kids, but he really does not like to cook.

He will bbq if I ask him but it's not often. He will make a huge load of soups or chili if the mood strikes him on a Sunday afternoon. He made split pea and ham soup the other weekend and it was really good.

My husband is the cook. I was the cook when we first married but while I was in law school he started cooking. It was pretty awful for a while, burnt pancakes and hotdogs every other night. But he learned to like cooking in a way I never did and he is so much better at it now, after 7 years, than I was after being the family cook for almost 20 years.

The only thing he can cook is breakfast. I don't eat "full" breakfast, so he only does it for himself. He went straight from mama to me, and was never taught how to cook or do housework. His idea of cooking (if I'm not here) is to get fast food!

I have made an extra effort to teach my boys how to cook & clean...I don't want my DILs (when the time comes!) to be angry with me for not teaching them basic skills! LOL! :D

My husband can cook, but I cook most of the time because I'm home more. He can make a mean turkey. (Now I want turkey) He is very excellent at getting takeout if I'm sick or have had an especially bad day.

My hubby can cook and helps me cook sometimes but I usually cook since my kids are starving and we like to eat as soon as hubby gets home from work. I work from home and it is just easier for me to do all the cooking.
