And if you won, what would you buy? We always play the same numbers every week, but never win! But gosh darn it, we will one day! lol And when we do, we will pay off our bills, and quit my job, and I will travel and then scrap about my travels! If only....

LOL - not usually but I did get a powerball this morning when I was out getting groceries. For the price of $2 I can dream all day of what I would do with $800 million (well not that much after taxes of course but still enough for me to live on comfortably! Hahaha!).

I would pay off the few bills I have (I own my home already and my car) and buy a new car. I would set up a trust for my daughter, son, and grandchildren. I would set aside enough for my daughter to complete 8 years of college without any worries. Then I would travel like crazy. And open a business of some kind that would keep me entertained and challenged.

I would also love to walk around the grocery store with a handful of $100 bills and randomly hand them out to people - We had guy that did this for a few years and I was actually on the receiving end once - it was such a godsend at that particular time.

Well that powerball win would be 1 BILLION Canadian dollars (and our lottery is TAX FREE!!!) Can you imagine? LOL...

I would buy a house on the beach in the Caribbean somewhere and live there all year. We would travel and I would take photos like crazy. I would get the kids a private tutor. I would have a gardener to help me with a huge vegetable garden which I would give away to neighbours and the needy. I would have a guest house for friends/family to come visit. I would also build a market in whatever town I lived in and donate the space for locals to come sell their stuff. :)

I would set up a foundation for underprivileged kids to be creative and express themselves. I would provide supplies, cameras, technology and bring in instruments and teachers to teach them. All for free. I would only ask in return that the kids take it seriously and that they tidy up when done. lol.

I would of course, help out my family. I would also do the random stranger giving out money to the needy thing. I saw a show once where a billionaire went around and found these people who had done amazing things for others but never for themselves. He would "reward' them with money to provide for themselves. I would do the same. Again, it would be under a foundation to make it all legal like. :)

After that, I would just sit and be joyously happy that we would never want for anything and could provide for family and the needy. :)

Usually, we don't play, but I bought a ticket for tonight's drawing. 3 in fact. I would definitely provide for family and for several others and would try to do it as anonymously as possible. A large donation to our church and a few other places that provide for the needs of many.
A house on the beach for sure! AND I would buy the biggest best computer I could get my hands on.

No. Never played. If I ever did and won, I would buy a hot tub. That's it. Except maybe a Disney Cruise for my family.:)

Well out of 3 tickets that I bought ZERO numbers. Out of the 10 tickets DH bought...ONE number. Guess we will try again.

No, I don't play. I look at the odds and it just seems silly!

IF I ever won, I would buy a house for us that had a granny flat for my MIL, pay off my mom's house, buy a house for my daughter & SIL. Then, set up college funds for my boys and grandbaby. I would travel the world with hubby & boys.

I would love to just randomly hand out money. We have had times where money has been so tight that I don't know how we will make ends meet, so that kind of thing would be amazing and I think gives hope.

I would also give money to a charity that a friend of ours works at in Watts. She is so amazing with these kids who need so much!

Normally, no I don't play...but 1.3 billion? Hmmm...I confess I did buy into it for Wednesday's Powerball drawing. $2 and a dream...

Yes, every October 14th. The anniversary of the day that my mother won the lottery back in 1983. She shared the jackpot with one other winner. The both got $1.6 million spread out over 21 years.

It seems like a lot, but after taxes, they cleared about$70,000 a year. Nice to live on. My dad quit his job and they golfed every day.

She died with 4 years left which was then split between me and my 5 siblings. We each got about $7,000 after taxes.

Congratulations on the winnings! It is good the lotto still paid after your mom passed too. We've not had good luck with it. Our neighbors seem to do very well with scratch offs. It's a shame so much of it is taxed since the tickets are purchased with money earned - which is taxed.

I' will' be buying this week!

I won $4 and traded it in for 2 more tickets for the drawing on Wednesday - LOL. I can't even wrap my head around 1+ billion dollars though!
