Do you have any? I have a few. My favorites are my orchids. They are about five years old and are at the point where they bloom three times a year. The first two years nothing. At least I was patient with them. How about you? Do you have any house plants

We had some when we lived in California but we didn't think they would survive the cross country move and 3 weeks in storage so we left them. I really miss them. We had a beautiful palm tree and a few other plants that added so much life to our living space. I'm not sure why we haven't replaced them.

I can't with my kitties but my mom has the ones I had before kitties. I especially love my Spider Plant. It came off of my Grama's plant when I was a teenager.

A couple of orchids - one of them is over 5 years and made babies this year. I have gotten it to bloom several times so fingers crossed. I am also the plant lady at work :)

I used to have all kinds - ivies, African violets, philodendron but one of my 2 cats LOVES plants and will eat them down to nubs. I had one hanging one that he was bound and determined to get to and he climbed the curtains :shock
Now I just keep all my plants outside in my gardens.

I don't have any in the house, but just read an article about how good they are inside. I have a palm and some succulents out on the patio.

I would love to have them inside. Before we had kids and the dog, we had a beautiful bamboo palm that was so pretty. It didn't survive our move and I've never replaced it.

I just hate having them and then they die. I always feel guilty.:cryhard

Ha. I have the opposite of a green thumb. I don't know what you would call it. If plants are in my house, they have come inside to die. lol

I have LOTS of houseplants! My favorite two are the Christmas cactus and the peace lily that were my late grandmother's. Every time they flower, I believe it's my grandmother's way of letting me know she is watching over us. I have since propagated a few more cactus. I also have lots of spider plants, a violet, aloe, ferns, and some that my mom gave me that she rooted from hers and now are HUGE (not sure what they called), but they have huge tropical looking leaves! I even have my kid's growing some on their window sills.

I have more than I thought I had. I always forget to water them til I see them wilting then I am like Crap I will water you, you poor things. I have 2 orchids as well that keep blooming though I need to repot them and I have no clue how you do that with an orchid. Do you know how Danica?

I only have one plant... Its a Christmas cactus that I got from one of my dearest friend's mom (who has since passed). It is blooming as we speak. I am really happy with it. I will be sad if something ever happens to it.

I have a spring lily that I have had since 1999. We have lovingly named him Frank and he is older than two of my children! There is no way to kill this kind of plant! Feed it when it is hanging limply on the ground and it perks right back up! Wouldn't it be great if the kids were so easy to feed?
