I am SO not a fan of the tattoo craze that the young seem to be embracing but when granddaughter Liss came along and showed me this one shortly after the death of her beloved grandfather my heart melted. He always called her Goorgie, his shortened version of the word “Gorgeous” with elongated first syllable in pronunciation. This tattoo was her loving tribute to him for the rest of her life. Little did I know that a few years later, that whole arm would be covered in tattoos! I tell her that I really don’t love the tattoos but I will always love the girl who is wearing them!

Lovely page, Jill! I'm not a fan of tattoes my self so I can totally understand you. But your granddaughter did really a nice thing. Beautiful flower clusters and great journaling.

I feel the same about the tattoo trend. But how could you not love that one?? I do like seeing the photo of the first solo and the now. I like the neutral coloring and that fabulous Chatgpt creation you used for Goorgie.

Wow...she sure has embraced the trend to "tell my story" in tatts.
My granddaughter has done the same thing.
I cringe to look at them.

My generation smoked pot and blew their minds on LSD.
I'm thinking...tatts are not so bad after all.
And they can be removed before their stories wrinkle, sag and become blurred "what the ???"
