Do we have any Wicked fans here?
I secured the early release tickets yesterday!!! I'm soooo excited! I set an alarm for 4:50am so I could wake up and get the tickets, the whole site (amazon and fandango) were both crashing. I refreshed, refreshed, refreshed over and over and FINALLY got it!!
I got tickets for all 7 of the girls in our family that are also Wicked fans.
THE COUNT DOWN HAS BEGUN!!
39 days and counting!!

Congrats! Since I live in Kansas, it's sort of a given that I'm a Wicked fan! LOL! You should come visit. We have a small Kansas town that has completely embraced the OG Wizard of Oz. They have an amazing museum of items from Frank L Baum and the original movie, as well as other reiterations including the current film, the Muppet version, and Broadway's The Wiz! Other businesses have Oz-themed names (e.g. Toto's Tacos), they have Toto sculptures and Oz murals all over the city, and there is even a yellow brick road that starts in the city park and ends up downtown. So cute! Every October, they have Oz-tober fest! LOL!

We went there several years ago!

That sounds so fun!!! I would love to see all of that, maybe someday! <3 How fun that you live right there and can visit anytime you want!

Regardless if one "needs" the merch, the merch typically finds its way to us! LOL!!!

Let me know if I need to pop over to the Oz Museum and post shopping photos for this group! LOL! I may or may not use the shopping services of those who live near a Disney park. LOL!

I am laughing myself silly! I love that you are so happy with the laundry soap and deodorant. So sorry it doesn't SAY Wicked! At least you like the deodorant - teenager or not! haha!
I'm such a dork!! HAHAHA
I keep seeing stuff and saying, who needs that... and then I decide I NEED it!! LOL
I mean I need laundry soap and deodorant anyways, so why not get WICKED stuff?! LOL

LOL... it's the simple joys in life!!! I sure hope you document this fun adventure in a scrapbook page! I'll see what I can do about getting some photos of Wizard of Oz merch. (But it will be the OG items, not the new movie franchise). Let me know if there is something specific you're looking for. My favorite item I've seen to date was a shirt with a note from Toto telling Dorothy that he took the shoes and she needed to find her own way home. LOL!

I am WOO CRAZY!!!

Haven't been to the Museum yet. Don't know why. On my bucket list.

I have the Wizard of Oz Monopoly game that my Mom and Daddy gave me for Christmas when I was probably 40 years old. I have a wonderful, little, water tornado "thingy", that my Daddy gave me one year when he came home from a business trip. (you know, one of those things you shake-spin it around in your hand and it forms a swirly tornado inside the tube) I cherish it still. I have a stuffed Toto on my headboard. I have Ruby Red Snoozie sequin slippers that I almost never wear because I don't want them to wear out. (hehehe) I think that's it.

Oldest DD and I are going to go see For Good after it's out for a bit. I'm just HOPING that I don't cry too much... because WE danced to that song for her senior year recital! GUARANTEE I'm gonna lose it at that song and she's going to TRY not to laugh at me.<3 Grandson is probably going to go with us. He went to see the first one with us. SIL will probably go too as he didn't go and kicked himself after. Hubby doesn't care for the big theatrical Wicked-type stuff. ARGH! He doesn't like HP at all. Don't know why I keep him sometimes, but he's cute and he's a GREAT cook! (and he puts up with me... BONUS!)

Oh how sweet! I can’t want for your update after you see For Good! I love all your special memories with the world of Oz 💚💕

Huge Wicked fan. Seen the show multiple times in the theatre, and of course, part 1 of the movie. I can't wait to see part 2, although I'm wondering about its ending, which apparently is different from the musical. Also, there are songs added, so curious to see how they fit in. One more month and we'll find out.
