How to Say Thank You?

Good morning! I am wondering where/how to post a thank you message for members who leave comments on your L/O's in the gallery? Thanks!
 
So very kind of you to ask. Being on the Sugar Cookie team, I often wonder how any comment is received. Our goal is to acknowledge your addition to the gallery, all the work you did to create a layout, and add a brief comment on what attracted us as a thank you for posting. Every layout helps to keep GS going strong. All of it is to encourage you to come back and post again. None of us are qualified to give advice or critique. We try our very best not to. That being said, I often wonder if I'm encouraging or if the poster would rather I kept my mouth shut.

A personal message is a super wonderful way to say thanks. Another quicker/easier way is to click on the commenter's name and find the place on that profile that leads to their gallery. Click on any of their layouts and add a comment. Don't have to say thanks for anything if you don't want. The team knows that when anyone who isn't on the team comments, it means they really want to. It means a lot to us too!
 
There is a like button on posts there should be a like button for the gallery also so we can like a comment from someone.

I wish we could have this too! It would be so cool!! Unfortunately it is not an option with our current gallery. If we ever get the option to add this I will for sure add it to the gallery :)
 
I love TBears suggestion of a return comment to the person's gallery. Who isn't tickled to get a lovely comment :) I love getting comments and would much rather have a comment on one of my pages than a thank you any other way!
 
Please don't keep your mouth shut! Your comments are so refreshing and encouraging. You seem to have a real gift for it.

Thanks, Deanna. I don't know about a gift, but I can say I REALLY enjoy seeing all the different ways scrappers use the same kits, all the different reasons why they created their page, and their personal lives and talents they share in the journaling. Gotta admit...my inspirational file is bursting to the seams. Almost every page I create was inspired by someone's I've commented on from the gallery. Keep 'em coming!
 
What a lovely thread, it's wonderful to know that the hard work the cookies do is enjoyed and appreciated. Yes, a PM, is the only way to thank a cookie directly, but leaving a comment for any of the many talented scrappers at GS is a wonderful way to pay the love forward. There are loads of great people capable of great comments at GS, it shows each year during Scrap-a-thon. If you leave a comment for someone else every time you upload a layout the love will grow. You can also join the very special sweet ladies that fill the Cookie Platter with love.
