What's your go-to color for your pages?

As I've been uploading some of my layouts in the gallery, I realized that I tend to be drawn to similar colors for my scrapbook layouts. I use a lot of teals, browns, pinks, and greens. Maybe because in my mind's eye, they read more as neutral colors and let the photos take center stage. Do you find that you use a lot of the same colors? Do those colors change seasonally?
 
Oooh good question! My colors definitely change seasonally. I live somewhere without distinct seasons, so I think it helps me mark the passage of time. My Thanksgiving beach pages will have more autumnal colors than my spring beach pages, even though it's the same place. I usually start my pages with a light neutral background, so using seasonal colors helps them look not so same-y.
 
I really try to match my colors to the photos I've chosen. But I am drawn to the deeper color tones of any color. I think fall kits are my favorite because of the colors used in them. They just resonate with me.
 
Good point!!! Ha... I MAY be known to have changed the colors of my photos (especially shirt colors) if they clash with the scrapbook kit I've chosen! LOL!!!

Same for me! I also try to match with my photos. Because I love to scrap travel photos I love to use blue and green. I rather go for dark tones than pastel (too sweet for me LOL).
 
Excellent question! I never really thought about one color over another. I just try to match the colors I use to the photos on my page. I really don't I have a "go-to" color other than the normal neutral colors.

One time, I created an album for my daughter's graduation in using different shades of blues, blacks, and even silver! All photos used was gray-scaled. And, it turned out amazing!! One day, I should upload to the gallery here.

I will say my favorite colors are burgundy, blues, hunter green, and a deeper yellow..... that's really evident when looking at the decor of my house, ROFL!
 
I just love color! I like the variety of different color schemes that inspire me. I scrap a lot of granddaughter/great-GD photos so I use a lot of pink/red but then I get to use blue/green/brown for my GGS. I love neutrals too. It is the variety that keeps me going. I understand what @KarenDiamond said about her album and I would love to see it but when I start to play all of the colors call to me. BTW, my house is oak with blue/green/red/gold.
 
Ha... I never thought about comparing the colors of my layouts to the colors I used to decorate my home. I guess that could apply to the colors of the clothes in my closet, too. How fun. I love color. Thank you all for sharing your faves!
 
I'm all over the place with color. I create a lot of outdoor/scenery pages so gravitate toward blue and green and I love pink and purple, but there is no color I won't use.
 
I tend to use a variety of seasonal colors, too, but I am most drawn to deeper, earthy colors. I love blues mostly, along with greens and dark purples. I also use black a lot since we have a tuxedo kitty and it works so well with her coloring. I enjoy scrapping with almost all colors and even like using browns, especially woodgrains. I generally dislike pastels in any hue and I'm definitely not a fan of a lot of pink.
 
I match the photos, but tend to use plain or watercolor backgrounds rather than patterns. I am not good with patterns.
 
I hear you Lynnie, I struggle with patterns too. I also tend to use my photos to guide me with my colors but I love pastel shades. My home is a mix of colors with browns and beige in the kitchen, greens in the living room and blues in the bedrooms.
