Do you listen to music?

When you scrap, do you listen to music? Do you like it quiet? I like both. But when I am really serious, it must be quiet.

Hmm, I am like you I guess. It depends on my mood and whether I'm home alone or not. The music stays off is someone is home with me, but I can scrap to the ambient noise. :)

Mostly I scrap in silence but sometimes I have a movie playing or some music going. I need a second monitor or a bigger one so I can still have most of my screen for PSE, open kit and notepad.

I usually scrap after the kids go to bed so I am usually quiet as a mouse otherwise they get up.
During the day though I work from home so I have the radio playing through the google home device just so its not so quiet

I like that I am not the only one. Right now, I am listening to Hallmark Christmas movies. I want to make sure to get their ratings up so they show them again in July next year.

I scrap mostly at work, so no music here. When I'm at home and scrap, I can listen to music as long as it's not too loud.

I usually have it quiet. I'm a mono-tasker and easily distracted. I can't listen to music and read a book, or scrap efficiently. I listen to music in the car but that's about it. However, if I am scrapping at home and the TV is on in the background it doesn't bother me.

I watch movies and binge watch TV series while I am scrapping. I often have no clue what is going on in the film or the movie, but it is usually ones I have seen before. When I am stuck, I pause, watch for a few minutes and try again, refreshed.

I need another monitor, too. I scrap on my laptop and am getting used to the limited space. It is tough :)

I often scrap while Rand (husband) is watching a baseball game or football game or (yuk) news. He often watches a documentary or has strange radio programs on. I have been known to scrap in silence also. I am just fine with whatever. I find I am less distracted by what is going on in the condo if there is something on the telly or radio, though.

Isn't it interesting that we as women can turn on the tv and scrap and let it be background noise. However, I have noticed that with men if the tv is on, it can't just be background noise. I find that so interesting. I wonder what it is about women?

Oh I listen to music while I scrap. Bust most of the time, I read books while I scrap. I used to listen to an audiobook but I still prefer to read.

We spend our lives multi-tasking, men do not have to. I think it is our nature. If we have children, we have to be alert to background noises in case things are quiet and they are up to something devious and very terrible. So we can function with ambient noise and still are able to focus on the project at hand.

I usually listen to gospel music on Pandora, or my husband playing the piano!! :) At night when I scrap, we are usually watching a movie or something. I mostly have the music on to drown out the neighbor dogs barking. drives me nuts!!

OMG! Your husband piano playing is such a gift! I watched some guy play on Instagram the other day and was mesmerized. That would be awesome background noise (not that the gospel wouldn't be either). I get the quiet thing, too! Sometimes I am that way. Just depends on my mood.

My husband plays the guitar for several hours each day - sometimes I turn everything off and listen...

I find some music soothing and some distracting. All of it lovely, but not necessarily to scrap to.

I agree about different music. There is the kind I want to rock out to, and the kind I want to rest to. Not all of it is scrapping music!
