Hello all!
I am Cay, and I am new to Ginger Scraps. I don't think you were around when I was previously into digital scrapbooking, or else you were very new!
I used to be involved in digital scrapbooking back in 2007-2008. I was even on a couple of CTs and did a couple of guest CT gigs. Then I suffered a concussion and had to stop using the computer entirely for a long time. I actually ended up suffering from post-concussion syndrome, which took years to recover from. Then my husband and I moved across the ocean, I went back to university, and became very busy.
Now I finally have time to do some digital scrapbooking again, so I decided to return digital scrapbooking. We also have a cat who is very ill with an aggressive cancer, and I want to document all the time he has left with us, something I wish I had done earlier, and for earlier pets.
A couple of designers whose kits I like (Just Because, Connie Prince) are here at GS, so I decided to join you here. I'm looking forward to getting back into digital scrapping, trying out some challenges, and maybe eventually doing a guest CT gig or two once I get my skills back up to snuff.
Other things about me: I'm a proud Canadian army wife, finishing up a Master's of Public Health degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. I'm a registered dietitian. I have three wonderful Sphynx cats (hairless cats). My husband is currently deployed overseas, so life is a little chaotic right now, so scrapping is a nice escape. I'm also a certified group fitness instructor and love teaching all kinds of classes, including Zumba.
