Have you seen any good movies lately?

DD and I watched Inside Out. I was really looking forward to it but I found it really bad. The concept was good but the characters in the heads bugged the crap out of me. LOL...I wanted to punch sadness right in the face. DD got so bored, she left to go play with her My Little Ponies and I sat and watched the rest by myself...lol

THe Longest Ride with Scott Eastwood! It's a Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, The Wedding...) book turned movie. I loved it!

The Longest Ride was so good! We saw it in the theater last year and we've also rented it - love Scott Eastwood.

We all loved Inside Out - the adults and the teens (ages 16 to 13).

Scott Eastwood was sooo good! I haven't seen him in anything else...but I will definitely be keeping a look of for more of his movies! Gotta love a hot cowboy!

The most recent film I saw was with my husband a few weeks ago we saw The Hateful Eight. As much as I love Quentin Tarantino and loved Kill Bill etc. I really disliked this one and wished I hadn't wasted my money seeing it in the theatre. Hoping to see The Revenant soon!

We haven't seen anything in the theater for a while (Still haven't seen Star Wars!!!). We've mostly been renting on Redbox.
We LOVED Inside Out! One of our faves!
We recently saw Ant Man. It was really fun. I didn't think I was going to like it, but ended up really enjoying it.

I can't remember the last movie I saw in a theater lol, we use Netflix & Amazon Prime.
"I'll See You in My Dreams" with Sam Elliott and Blythe Danner was good, but anything with Sam Elliott...at 71 he is still hot! I watched "God is Not Dead" and really liked it. Loved "How to Train a Dragon", "Minions" and my 6 year old grandson and I laughed till we cried at "Shaun the Sheep"

Concussion was SO GOOD!!! Also, from Redbox, check out Batkid returns. It's the documentary story of that little boy that got to pretend he was Batman for a day and they shut down the city of San Francisco for his Make-A-Wish. We've rented it twice, it was so good. Even my 18 year old son got teary because it was such a "feel good" show.

I am going with a friend to see The Danish Girl this morning:) Anyone seen that?

We saw Hail, Caesar! this weekend with a group of friends. 5/7ths of us didn't like and 2 did. There were laughs in it, but I felt that the jokes went on too long and it dragged.
We loved Inside Out. We also watched Hotel Transylvania 2 and thought it was funny. I seem to see more kid flicks than not! Haha. I did see Star Wars Force Awakens and loved it and am looking forward to Zoolander No. 2 coming out this week.
The Martian and Antman are on my Blu Ray rent list and I want to check out Deadpool, too.

We have been doing a Star Wars Marathon for the past couple of weeks. We finished the 6th one yesterday! I hadn't ever seen Episodes 2 & 3. They are really good!! Now, we are all looking forward to seeing the new one!

We also loved Inside Out. One of my new faves, I think. We also saw The Finest Hours in the theater a couple weeks ago. It was pretty good, too! You can't go wrong with those true stories!!

Ok..I am adding one not listed...Ride Along 2. It is PG 13, but it is so much funnier than the first one! I laughed out loud so much my oldest told me to settle down! :)

I just rented The Intern based on your recommendation, Stephanie!

Anyone else frustrated with the movies in the theater? We are having a rare date night this weekend and I'm in the mood for something funny- or a funny chick flick. There's nothing that catches my eye! I asked my husband why they don't seem to be making any chick flicks anymore; he says it's cuz nobody but me likes them. Boo! ;)
