We went recently and saw SPECTRE. I really enjoyed it but the hubby did not. I can't even remember the last movie we saw before that one though. I think it may have been the last Avenger movie. We used to go all the time, but now not so much anymore. What was the last thing you saw? Anything you would recommend?

Last movie we saw at the theater (which is very rare for us) was Hotel Transylvania 2.
*and just to show how rare, the last movie before that was actually Hotel Transylvania 1) ROFL

We went to Mockingjay Part 2 in the theater about 10 days ago for my son's birthday. Before that we went to Goosebumps. We already have our tickets purchased for the new Star Wars movie. We hadn't gone to many movies in the last few years but then our local theater got an Dolby Cinema AMC Prime theater and it's AMAZING and worth the money. Unbelievable adjustable seats. Plenty of room. Stadium seating so that other people's heads are not visible. Moving sound and transducers (?) in the seats so you can feel it. If you have one of these theaters near you, I recommend trying it.

I also watched Mockingjay. It was good, I really liked it. It was similar to the book, but I read it a while ago after the first movie came out so I probably forgot a bunch of stuff.

So much better than Part 1. But geesh, my daughter had to go to the bathroom during one of the crucial scenes, lol.

The last movie we saw in the theater was Inside Out. The next movie we'll go see is Star Wars, but I forgot to order our tickets when they first went on sale, so I guess we won't be seeing it on opening weekend.

how was mockingjay 2? Did you read the books?

I had read the books before the first movie was even announced. My two oldest girls usually would get me hooked on young adult series. I liked it pretty well, despite some of the negative reviews. What I did not like, however, was because it is PG 13, they showed PG 13 previews and my 12 year old was terrified (buried his head in my armpit and I covered his ears with my hands) by the preview for The Forest. Just because your child is ready for some dystopian sci fi does not mean your child is ready for even previews of a horror movie.

Oh goodness I can't even remember! I think it was Mom's Night Out! lol.... It's been about a year or two since I've been to the movies!! I know we'll be going to see Star Wars soon!

I totally agree with you, Sara!! My kids have closed their eyes & covered their ears during so many previews when we've gone to for movies!! It's been years now, but one in particular still haunts them - it was a scratching noise that turned out to be someone buried alive in a casket...creepy even for me, but to 2 boys barely old enough to see a PG13 movie, it was terrorizing! :(

We're going to see it on Friday. Not 3D (hello migraine for the adults :/), and our theater still has tickets for Thursday's showings :O

Last movie we saw in theaters was ... Jurassic World :D

Last one in the theatre for me was Pixels. Took the kids and we loved it. I'm not a huge Adam Sandler fan these days (he seems to have lost his edge and humour) but it was pretty funny.

Hoping to take the kids to a movie over the holidays. I can't take Ms Iz to Star Wars but want to see it so badly!!!

Peanuts movie. Before that Inside Out and before that we went once while I was pregnant with each of my daughters... Age 3, 5, and 8 lol

The last movie I saw in the theater was Inside Out. And I didn't really see it since I fell asleep! Before that it was The Other Woman- I loved that movie! It's hilarious and I didn't even fall asleep!

Just saw MockingJay part 2 last night. With all my kids even my 9 year old son. They all loved it. Though my 9 year old did cover his eyes during the "Mutt" scene but other than that it was a great success. I did End up crying through a lot of it though but it's been an emotional week so I can't place all the blame on the film.

I think is was either Mocking Jay 2 or Creed.
Both were amazing!
Seriously if you are a Rocky fan, go see Creed! You will love it!
