ISO Maple Syrup/Sapping kit!

Designer: Dear Friends Designs
I'm sure I've asked before, but it doesn't hurt to ask again - right?! I know its totally the wrong "season", but that's where I'm at in my scrapping! :)

I would LOVE to see a kit for making maple syrup!! Maple leaves, maple trees, buckets, backs, fire, taps, bottles of syrup, even a wheeler or tractor, snowflakes, that sort of thing! In my head I have a blue (that's the color of the bags we use), brown, white, neutral-ly type palette.

Anyone love to help a girl out?! We make maple syrup every year and I'm always either making my own stuff or piecing together kits to make it work!

And of course - here are a few photos for inspiration! ;)

Living in Western New York we like to go to "Maple Weekend" every year. Our local farmers and maple producers open their sugar shacks and welcome visitors to experience the process and taste all the goodies from syrup, candies, butter, bbq sauce, mustard, and soooo much more! We usually go to a pancake breakfast and then tour several farms before passing out from a sugar coma! We look forward to this every spring!

I would definitely use a kit like this...I have loads of photos :)

You could add horses, metal buckets, syrup bottles, pancakes, farm type elements would work...I could post some pics too if it would help!

Yay!! Glad I'm not the only one - good idea picking out old LOs, I should dig out some of mine too!

Flood the designers with inspiration they wont NOT be able to do it ;)

How about throwing out some elements and colors that you think would work well with a kit? I googled it and saw some ideas, but you 2 have 1st hand knowledge ;) I was thinking maybe some cut wood, maple leafs, trees, jars, buckets, spouts, drips of sap, a drill, and although honey bees would be cute, it appears that this process is done in Winter? Maybe some boots, and mittens, and maybe even snow shoes and/or foot prints?
Some of the photos I saw had farm equipment in it like tractors, is this common?
What other ideas, and what about colors? patterns? browns and golds would be pretty?

Yes!! I love all of those ideas - its supposed to happen in "spring" but for us, that usually means we still have a TON of snow, but sometimes towards the end of the season it means we have a TON OF MUD!

Like I said I tend to migrate towards brown & blue, but you can see I've also used red or whatever color goes with the kids' winter coats that year ;)

OK I went digging for more LOs for inspiration - you can see how I really need a kit!! Some of these pages are pretty embarrassing!

Here is our "Sapping through the years" ha ha!

Trina, are there particular birds and animals you are likely to see while hanging out with the maple trees?

Oooh, Tracey.... does this mean you'll be creating a kit?? ;)

My family goes to Maine Maple Sunday almost every year and I have lots of pics to scrap! I would love a kit like this!
