Designers -- Naming of Kits suggestion

I don't know how everyone decides on how to name or title their kits....especially when you are going with a monthly Series. Most everyone has the month listed, but wondering if it would be feasible to add the corresponding number ahead of the month before it. So instead of.... "Name of Kit" January it would be "Name of Kit" 01 January
Then "Name of Kit" 02 February (putting the zeros in to compensate spaces in 10, 11, 12)

In my mind, and I think a lot of others automatically search and look for January, February, March, April but when files are sorted they are sorted alphabetically so they end up being a jumble. If one does a designer search and sort alphabetically when you come to the first one of the series it would be April, August, Dec, February.

Just a thought.

Debra, with your searching do you mean searching in the store?

If you are referring to your own computer you can easily rename your folder names to suit what you want.

Excellent idea. Over the years I have named/sorted kits in various ways. Must admit that one method does not cover all my needs. I have, however, used your method and it works in those places where I need it.

Example: I like those This is Me monthly series by Karen Schulz. And it is difficult to rummage through my computer list to see which one I have and which ones I don't. So I add the 01, 02 etc to indicate which month...as in January is renamed This is Me 01 January.

If you are asking the designers to rename their series kits, some may not respond...they are naming them for their own method of categorizing that works for them.

The best timing for me to rename is when I unzip them. The first download is renamed the way I want and is used for the other downloads to add to it.

I wouldn't even think of designers to rename everything they have done....I was thinking more with new year series coming out.
I do renaming when I unzip.
