It would be great to see something with the Canadian military colours. Here's what CADPAT (our camouflage pattern) looks like:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CADPAT
Rank insignia can be found here:
https://www.forces.gc.ca/assets/FOR...tory-badges-colours-flags/insignia-poster.pdf As I'm an army officer wife, I'd particularly like to see the crowns and pips that are part of the officers' rank insignia as elements in a kit.
Various badges can be found here:
https://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/gal/bad-ins/index-eng.asp While they can't be duplicated, they can maybe serve as inspiration - i.e. it would be great to have a gold-coloured beaver representing the engineers, or three intertwined red maple leaves representing the army. The various honours/medals can be seen here:
https://forces.gc.ca/en/honours-history-medals-chart/medals-chart-index.page Again, they can't be reproduced, but it would be cool to have something with some of the colours, i.e. especially for the Canadian Decoration (CD), which is for long service.
Some of the mottos would be nice to have as word art / elements. For example, "Ubique" is the engineer's motto, which means "everywhere." A bunch of the mottos can be found here:
https://www.thefullwiki.org/Military_Unit_Mottos:_Canada
Something like a blue UN Peacekeepers beret would be a great element, as Canadians have done a lot of peacekeeping missions. Similarly, something representing NATO would be cool, but I'm not sure what would be appropriate.
Some poppies would be great to have, as we wear poppies in the lead-up to Remembrance Day, celebrated on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month (so November 11, at 11 am).
So those are some things I would like to see.
