Hurricane Zeta Evacuation
Journaling reads:
After 10 wonderful days at Dauphin Island the worst happened and we were evacuated due to Hurricane Zeta. We, along with Mom & Dad, went for 3 days to a LaQuinta in Tilman's Corner, about 40 minutes north of Dauphin.
During the worst of the hurricane the hotel lost power for about 10 hours but most of it was overnight.
We had hoped to avoid a hotel stay due to Covid so between that and the weather we spent most of our time in the rooms even getting carry out for our meals, which also was a bit of a challenge due to the hurricane.
Above: The hotel which already had some outside damage from Hurricane Sally had a bit more damage thanks to Zeta.
