I started scrapping about 16 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. Of course it was traditional paper scrapping. I was hooked immediately!! I love everything about scrapping. I took the leap into digital scrapbooking about 7 years ago- At first I was sure I would still paper scrap as well. But as I have gotten more and more into digi I am absolutely in love with it!! It is so exciting to challenge myself and learn new techniques. What I love the most is that Digi has no limits- I feel like anything I dream up I can put into a scrap page.
I decided to open GingerScraps- an online digital scrapbooking community to share my love of this wonderful craft. We have now grown into a full service scrapbooking site!

I am so glad I found this place!!! I am from a little 'ol town called Payette in Idaho. I love scrapbooking and am excited to branch into the digital side of it! Thanks for all the info you have here for newbies like me.

I am new here and have a question about the Cookie Jar. August is a closed forum already?? Doesn't the challenges run for the whole month of August? :)

I do not know who closed the August Cookie Jar, I am sure it was done by accident. YES the challenges run all month (and sometimes into the next before I remember to close it! But don't count on that.). I have reopened the thread. Thank you for pointing it out to us!!

Hello all. I am Rosemary and I am from Prince Edward Island, Canada. I am new to scrapbooking but I am already addicted.
 
Hi all. I'm Ruth and I live in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada. My user name is my first granddaughter's initials and I'm her gram :)
(She's 16 now :( ) I started traditional scrapbooking 10 years ago. I gave in to peer pressure and gave digital a try about 5 years ago now and I love it. I have done a couple traditional books as gifts this year but I love playing with digital. I want to participate in Challenges this month and see how that goes. I have completed two but need to read more and find out how and where they get posted too. It's so much fun! Usually I'm one to be stressed out with a layout but I decided that I wasn't going to pressure myself and just go with it. I don't need to post it if I don't like it right?!!
I've joined a few Facebook groups and find that is fun too. So many ideas, so little time.
Looking forward to spending time around this site!

Hello from Mesquite Nevada too! I'm Priss (Pssequimages) and I am a digital scrapbooker, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements educator, and papers--and pixels---enthusiast. Love the scrapbooking kits and the wonderful designers here at Ginger Scraps, and hoping to be able to play later this Spring. (after upcoming surgery :lipquiver)
 
Welcome! I remember your name - from SBE or maybe Scrapper's Guide/Digital Scrapper since you were an PSE and PS educator. Wishing you a speedy recovery from you surgery.

I am new to the Forum and learning as I go. I have digital scrapped since Covid started last April. I good reason to start some of my classes I had accumulated! In 2021, I decided to try some of the Facebook challenged and joined the monthly layout by TCOT. That was easy so I am expanding to the monthly challenges from Miss Fish and joined the Craft Fair Survivor Challenge. I am determined to learn my way around this forum!!
 
Hi! My name is Mitzi. I'm from northern California, but moved to central Missouri in 2021. Mom, grandma to 2 beautiful babies, wife to my patient husband for 36 years. I have been purchasing from GingerScraps for years, so not sure why it took me so darn long to get on the forum!
