Windows 10 extraction

I have updated to windows 10 and do not like the way the zip files are extracted. The files end up in another window. There is no option to extract here. Is there a way to get the files to open in the folder that the zip file is in? I know I can copy and paste or drag and drop, but was hoping there was a way to fix this. It was so simple in windows 8 or 7

I use the program win zip and it still opens a box that asks where I want it sent to. I just right click and the box opens to aske where to send the download. The problem I have is I have to write click to download to the file I want instead of straight to downloads.

I use a free share ware program called extract all. It is a drag and drop program that allows me to extract multiple files at a time. I have done twenty at once.

I use win 10 and have the extract here feature. Actually several choices where how to extract and where to put them. I usually use WinRar to extract.

I use a free program called jzip that allows me to save wherever I want.

When I extract in Win10, it gives me a pop-up window that lets me select where I want the files placed.

That being said, I mostly use Extract Now because of the multiple file extract function.

I just had to come in and say that I just upgraded to Windows 10 and it is driving me insane. I STILL cannot tell where they put my word and excel applications. I have to open them through a shortcut I had on my desktop. And it feels like they renamed everything just to mess with me. This is going to be a process.....
