WICKED! For Good

I think you should get all stylish in all your new Wicked garb and then go to Universal in Florida for the Glinda / Elphaba meet and greet! LOL! Toss toss!

Huge Wicked fan. Seen the show multiple times in the theatre, and of course, part 1 of the movie. I can't wait to see part 2, although I'm wondering about its ending, which apparently is different from the musical. Also, there are songs added, so curious to see how they fit in. One more month and we'll find out.
I can't wait!! I'm so exited for ALL of it!! :)

That would be a dream come true!! I would probably faint! LOL
Ginger has not purchased that one yet…
That is CUTE! I haven't even seen that one, I love the embroidery <3

I can't find it anywhere online, do you happen to have a link?? :)
Oh dear, Ginger. I am very afraid to give the link to you. I don't think it is safe. You might have to increase the prices of everything on our store to cover your credit card bill when you are done! Also, I can't find any information on the store, so I have no idea how legit it is. It might be a good idea to test it with one less expensive item and see what the delivery is before you buy it all.

This is to the store

I'm loving this and appreciate that we are all such an enabling group! Ginger, please post photos of you wearing / displaying all your new SWAG! Or as the youth these days would say, give us your Main Character Riz by showing us your Fit! Love your Vibe! LOL!

Just a heads up, I did some research on the sweater link and found it to be questionable, I couldn’t find any reviews of the company. So in an abundance of caution, I felt it best to just remove the link. Better to be safe than sorry :)
But please don’t worry about me… I’m sure I’ll find 100’s of other sweaters I want! 😂😂😂

Did you all watch Wicked: One Wonderful Night?! It was so good! "For Good" had me in tears! And OMG the sweater that the dancers wore in "What is This Feeling" is the SAME sweater I got for the premier! So freakin' fun! I took a silly video, I can upload it to YouTube so you all can enjoy watching me nerd out. :ROFLMAO:😂🤣😂 I can not believe they picked the same sweater for the show's dancers, that I bought weeks ago!! How fun is that!!

I have still be obsessing daily, going on fun adventures to track down merch. My sister and I went to get the Dunkin' munchkins tin yesterday, it is so cute!! Then today, we went to see the Lush collection. I didn't end up getting anything, but it was fun to look at it and smell it all!
My niece met us at the mall to say hi and guess what! She bought me the "For Good Wicked Glinda Bubbly Pink Eau de Parfum" and the "Wicked So Popular pH Adaptive Lip Oil" She is so sweet!!!

I'm just having the best time ever being a Wicked super fan right now!! I don't ever want it to end <3

Wicked For Good absolutely swept me away tonight. I got choked up before it even started and kept my tissues handy through the entire movie. It was breathtaking from the first note to the last, and the emotion, the music, and the magic hit me right in the heart. I cannot wait to see it again and relive every beautiful moment.

Now for my long review...
I am home now, in my jammies and tucked into bed, trying to process everything I just experienced with Wicked For Good. What a wonderful and beautiful ride it was. From the very first note to the very last, it was absolutely stunning in every possible way.
People often ask me why I love Wicked so much, and it is always hard to put into words. For me, Wicked has been an escape into another world. It is the combination of color, passion, the incredible wardrobe, the emotion, and the fully immersive world that completely pulls me in. While the movie is playing, I am swept away. I am fully engaged in every detail, every moment, every bit of beauty that fills the screen.

And of course there is the music. The MUSIC. No soundtrack has ever touched me the way Wicked does. All of my favorite movies are musicals because music speaks to me in a way nothing else does. But Wicked is different. Wicked is special. I can officially say it is my favorite. I have never been as stunned as I was the first time I saw Defying Gravity. Tears streamed down my face and full body chills! That moment literally took my breath away and it still does every single time. In Wicked For Good, that same breath stealing emotion washed over me during No Good Deed and As Long As You Are Mine, I can not wait to get the album when it comes out on Friday and play it on a loop!

Then there is the story. This beautiful story of friendship, of love, of learning who you really are, and of standing up for what you believe in even when it is not easy. It is a story filled with heart and courage and emotion, and the movie captured that spirit so beautifully. Even writing this, I feel like I might cry. Every performance felt heartfelt and genuine, and the actors brought these characters to life in a way that made me fall in love with them all over again. Their voices, their expressions, their chemistry, everything felt perfectly woven together. It is truly a masterpiece!

Wicked has left a handprint on my heart, forever and always. 🩷 💚

Here are a few last videos :)
It’s happening!!! The Wicked For Good early screening is TONIGHT!!! Get ready with me!!
P.S Darn YouTube wouldn't let me put music because the video was "too long" for music.

At the Movies :)

Randy and I saw the movie last night. It was so much fun just watching the other movie goers enter the theater. Nearly every single person was wearing pink, green, or something Wicked related. It was so festive. Randy wore a green and black shirt, and I had on a pink sweater, so we low-key fit the theme. Our theater gave everyone these cute little Wicked snow globes with pink and green glitter inside, and we ordered the pink and green popcorn. The theater was also selling all sorts of different collectible cups and popcorn buckets, but they were massive and we don't have room for those types of collectibles. But it was still fun seeing everything.

We've been able to watch the live musical performance of Wicked, so we pretty much knew the plot for the second half. But we were delighted to hear the songs that were added to the movie version. That cast is just filled with amazing talent. We also oohed and ahhed over the set and costuming. Truly a visual delight! Overall, we had a simply splendid time and I'd be happy to watch the movie again.

I totally know what you mean! I LOVED the crowd when we went too! There were people in full on green witch makeup and Glenda ball gowns. It was so fun!
I got a tin popcorn bucket, the one with a different character on each side of the octagon shaped embossed tin bucket. It is really cute! They had pink and green sparkle sprinkles we could add to our popcorn too! So dang cute!! I saw those snow globes in some of my Wicked groups, they look adorable!

I definitely need to see it again, I will probably take my mom this coming week one day!

What was your favorite song??
Did you have a favorite part or anything you liked more in the stage show?

My favorite song is without question "For Good." When my mother was still alive, I took her to see the musical on stage. When she was fighting cancer, this song was one that would come up. After she passed, my SIL and I attended the musical on stage in her honor and we both bawled through that song considering what it meant to us. So, like you, I came to the theater prepared with tissues as I knew I would be a mess. I didn't even bother with eye makeup that day!

But for the movie, I thought Cynthia gave an amazing performance with her "No Good Deed" song... very powerful!

Did you have a favorite?
