What's your favorite part of each season?

Will fall soon on its way, I'm getting excited about decorating and getting into fall outfits. Got me thinking, what is your favorite thing/activity each season?

In summer I'm most excited that it's easier to swim (though I only did that once this summer), and wear sunglasses and cute dresses.

In fall I love the decorations, outfits, and cool weather.

In winter I'm all about Christmas, hot chocolate, presents, and my birthday. :)

In spring I'm excited about the weather, being outdoors (our gazebo got a lot of use last spring), reading, and feeling anew!

What about you?

Interesting question! :)

In summer, I like to hibernate inside and avoid the heat and humidity. I still go out, but not as much.

Fall is all about the décor, cooler temps, and more time with family and friends (especially as marching band season winds down).

Winter- I love the snow, family time, food, Christmas.

Spring- I go outside more as it is warming up, but take my allergy meds! Flowers and Easter celebrations.

fall - a hard freeze takes the bugs away and I can enjoy being outside
winter - freshly fallen snow is magical
spring - the first leaves on the trees
summer - water sports

Fall - sweaters/boots/scarves, crisp clean air, pumpkin lattes, new season for tv shows, photographing the landscape.
Winter - taking the dogs out in the snow, snuggling up in an afghan with a book, twinkling lights, hearty stews.
Spring - warmer days, buds and blooms, more sunlight, baby birds coming to the feeders.
Summer - beach, flip flops, sunglasses, BBQ, long days, driving with windows open.

I'm with you on the allergy meds -- I take them year round!

summer - water sports

What type of water sports do you enjoy? I'm pretty simple and just stick to swimming lol.

Fall - sweaters/boots/scarves, crisp clean air, pumpkin lattes, new season for tv shows, photographing the landscape.

I didn't even think about fall TV! What a great thought. What shows are you looking forward to?

Hi Olivia, I love these questions, I think help to get to know each better. Actually you inspired me for a layout that I had in mind about questions and answers and I didn't know how to put together, thank you so much!

In spring, gardening, usually here everything is covered still by the snow, so start a plan is always fun. Love Easter traditions and get chocolate eggs (this is the best part of the spring)

In summer gardening, beach trips, and hiking.

In fall hiking, taking a lot of pictures (I love the colors) and crocheting.

In winter photography, skiing and everything about Christmas, actually I am a Christmas junkie, what it means decoration, Hallmark movies, baking, gaining weight, lol, but also it means family and friends time, and a lot of fun around digiland.

Have a wonderful day and a fabulous week ahead my dear! :kisses

You're very welcome! I was thinking this topic would make a great page for an AAM album! I love that you're so into Christmas--you'll have to share photos of your décor this year. Have a great week as well <3

Winter - Hot chocolate, Christmas, my birthday. But NOT snow!
Spring - New blooms, sweat jacket instead of mittens, being able to go on walks. But NOT the bugs!
Summer - Warmer weather, walks by shore, BBQs. But NOT the heat!
Fall - The colors, definitely the colors, Halloween, taking photos of did I say colors! But NOT raking!

This would make for a cute page!

What a fun question. I've enjoyed reading everyone's answers! :)

SPRING - taking photos of the lilies and other spring flowers when they first begin to bloom
SUMMER - this is typically the time of year for our high school leadership programs (had to cancel them the past two years)
FALL - Cooler weather, changing leaves
WINTER - the way the world looks after a blizzard...everything is so white and quiet and sparkly!

Great question! My favorite season is fall, especially sometime in October (here) when the air JUST gets its crisp fresh coolness in the afternoons. It usually gets hot again after that once or twice, but I can always count on a few October days with that air that feels like a renewing to me! Maybe b/c it's my birth month? I dunno. I just like the respite from the crushing heat that has been summer.

In spring I love seeing all the flower trays at the garden center stores, in summer... well, I can't think of anything, lol. For winter I'd guess having a fire in the fireplace is nice, and watching a movie under a blanket!
